yup yup~ it was an animated film in the US. I remember I really liked it and the
song you mentioned. The sequels though, just kept getting progressively worse
(esp visually) in my opinion.

Dude, are you smoking something? Don Bluth is an American, as is this movie and
all of it's vile spawn afterward (enough sequels already) a work of american
animation as well. It's true that many animation companies hire Japanese
animators, although the animation is dictated by the director's rules.

I have seen it on tv several times. All of them are pretty good

Sucked. Big time. Huge waste of life. I think that movie tooks 2 hours off my life. Not that great at all. 0/10
