The Gist
Many categories here on Minitokyo are lacking plot synopses to give members who
have not yet had exposure to particular anime, games, or artists a better sense
of context, and the creation of new categories to accommodate new and upcoming
series only makes this deficiency more obvious. If you would like to help out by
writing up plot synopses, you may post plot synopses that you have written yourself on this
thread.
Requirements
Each plot synopsis submission requires the following elements:
- title
- year of release
- number of episodes (if applicable)
- the plot synopsis itself, which should be one or two paragraphs in length. No
spoilers, please!
If a category has an alternate title (for example, the Japanese title for those
most commonly known by their English titles), please feel free to include it.
Final Notes
Please only submit plot synopses for categories that already have a plot
synopsis if the existing one is erroneous or out of date. All submissions will
be deleted from this thread after they are processed.
And yes, all who submit plot synopses will get
credit for their work.

Ayashi no Ceres
Quote: Ayashi no Ceres Yuu Watase
26 Episodes
Aya Mikage's world is turned upside down on her sixteenth birthday, as her
family turns to kill her. The Mikages are wealthy, intelligent and elite humans,
due to the introduction of Tennyo (Heavenly Fairy) blood into the family. She
discovers that her Tennyo ancestor (Ceres) was not only living in their hearts
and souls throughout the ages; in fact, her very ancestor is living inside her,
to destroy the Mikage family, and to find her feathered robe (hagoromo) in order
to fly back up into the heavens.
As Aya loses her family connections and distances herself from her twin Aki and
other Mikages to prevent Ceres from taking lives, she meets a mysterious man
named Tooya, who seems to possess superhuman attributes. Who is he? Will Ceres
return? What is inside Aki?
From the creator of Fushigi Yuugi, Ayashi no Ceres is an anime about tormented
love, family, and hate. It bears a significant message for all viewers, about
life, death and the implications behind actions and decisions made for the
future.

Episodes
Miaka is like any ordinary schoolgirl. She loves to dream, eat and enjoy her
life rather than concentrate on her studies. She doesn't mind the fact her
mother wishes for her to resemble her intelligent best friend, Yui, and life
seems pretty normal.
Things change when they both enter the forbidden section of the local library,
and consequently fall into a book. The find themselves in Ancient China, where
they meet their first love, Tamahome, and get caught up in a jealous love
triangle. Miaka and Yui are no longer best friends and become enemies due to
several misunderstandings, and are recruited as Priestesses for the Suzaku and
Seiyuu Constellations in order to summon their Sacred God (in the form of an
animal).
The complicated battles between the Seiyuu and Suzaku end up in a fatal battle
and race against time, involving the past and the present, where Fortune
controls all. Fushigi Yuugi draws viewers into the fantastic realms of the
imagination, love and friendship, to inform everyone of their importance in
daily lives.
Four guys work at a florist and seem to be normal folks. Truth is they all work
for an underground organisation, "Weiss Kreuz" (white cross), and
together they are a group of assassins who bring justice to society by
eliminating those the Government cannot reach. All four, Aya, Youji, Ken and Omi
have their own dark secrets and pasts which lead them to this occupation, and by
no means is it a glorious one either.
As they carrying on their tasks, they encounter the seemingly invincible group,
"Schwartz", who possess telekinetic (and other) powers as they block
their way.
Weiss Kreuz is a well structured series with different stories with an
underlying secret yet to be revealed.
Weiss Kreuz Gluhen introduces two more characters to Weiss, namely Kyo and Sena.
In this series the art has been advanced to a DVD like quality, and focuses on a
more central and solid plot, exploring the role of the "Estet" and
their experiments.
A spy/ action thriller, Weiss Kreuz or Weiss Kreuz Gluhen offers the
anticipation of any mystery subplot, waiting for viewers to
unravel.

Final Fantasy VII
Year : 1997
Released by: Squaresoft
Genre: RPG
The future of the world seems bleak with the presence of the Mako Reactors that were build by Shinra Inc. which without many people realising
it, has depleted the planet of its energy. If this reactors continue to absorb
Mako (aka Lifestream) from the planet, it would soon be dead. A group called
AVALANCHE knows of this fact, and tries their best to stop Shinra Inc. from ever
expanding their use of Mako and to destroy all the reactors and free the planet
of its suffering.
Cloud Strife, a mercenary, was hired to
help AVALANCHE with their cause. But everything suddenly turns out for the worse
when Cloud's former senior in his years in SOLDIER, the greatest in his trade,
Sephiroth, suddenly shows up. He took
off, taking with him the long forgotten 'abominable thing that heaven sent' that was the greatest
threat to the planet at one time, Jenova.
What was Sephiroth actually planning with Jenova? To destroy the world? And can
Cloud and his friends stop him from whatever he is planning? And what is Cloud's
relation to Sephiroth? And what and who is Cloud, really?
