Suggestion...

Minitokyo

Minitokyo » Minitokyo Fora » Minitokyo  Suggestion...

Hey i want to make a suggestion...
I think the mods should warn the user before erasing their wallpapper 24 hours before doing that....so the user can erase it or change what is worng....
Also they shopuld send a pm with the specific info!!!! not just let an auto-(idont know what to put here)......
who is with me??

I would have to disagree. The biggest point is to read the Minitokyo Policy, as it provides the basics about submissions. The mods are not online all the time, and then again, the mods can't keep up with everything. That's why they receive reports so they can process them. If your gallery item was removed, then you would probably acknowledge the reason why instead of leaving the deletion at that and resubmitting, as stated in some threads such as this one:
http://forum.minitokyo.net/showthread/13884/

but still the message i got for the deletin does not help me to improve....
becasue i still do not konw the specific reason.....
also... if the mods are not online and they have helpers, this is not and impediment for sending such info...24 hours before erasing...

The mods may also have helpers, but suppose their helpers are not online all the time as well? As I said, there's no guarantee that the gallery item will be removed 24 hours from the time in which it was noted. Thus, in a matter of 24 hours, there could be a whole slew of new gallery items and the mods might not be able to keep up with the ones they noted out. That's why they get removed immediately after they are reported and the report is processed. In addition, I provided you with a thread in which if a submission is removed, you can do something about it; there is more specific information about what you can do if your submission was removed. Assess all of the information first, and I hope you have success in what you're looking for if this doesn't help.

Number one: The mods are not obligated to send you a notification 24 hours prier to deletion
Number two: If you were a good member, then you would of read the rules and regulations when you first joined as you were advised
Number three: These useless threads are not for suggestions...thats why there is the support page..
Number four: You would also know that if you read the rules
Number five: They give you a reason in the deletion notification as to why your submission was deleted
Number six: You should be heading to the forums right now and read ALL the noob bibles and rules threads immedietly..
Number seven: If you had done soo your submission would of not been deleted
Number eight: It was probably deleted for being effortless....
Thank You

If your submission was deleted for being too simple or low quality, I would suggest uploading it to a free image server (like imageshack, photobucket, etc) and then asking for help in the Art and Design Lounge.
The reasons that BotChii gives when a submission is deleted are vague because it's an automated system - a mod selects one of several reasons for deleting a wallpaper, such as "corrupted upload" or "wallpaper ripping" or "Low Quality" and the bot gives a response based on the selection. There are simply too many wallpapers and scans being submitted to MT nowadays for a mod to write a message for each deletion.

Actually, I agree with you ZK, Toxic had no reason to be rude or all-knowing. If anyone would have the right in this thread, it would be Tama; but she was nice enough to be...nice.

Anyway, while we recognize your suggestion, at this time giving 24 hours before deleting a wallpaper would be a hassle to the system and cause major back-ups and queues of wallpapers in the deletion section. When a wallpaper is deleted, if you read the PM from BOT[Chii] it's pretty easily defined in one or more of the reasons why it was deleted.

As Tama said, upload it to a free site like photobucket or imageshack and post it in the Art & Design Lounge to get critiques and help from other members to further your abilities to make wallpapers.

But as stated before, at this time your suggestion is not feasable. Thank you for your input though.

Jinzou.....thanks to everything...happy to read something this nice...(also for tama)...
Thanks for the explanation, and for your support....
I will try to sumit it to imageshak as soon as posible....i am just a begginer in these kind of things ... i though that my idea was good until i saw your post....know i know that is imposible for now...
NOW YOU CAN close THIS post!!!!
