I'm sorry if this has been covered in another thread, my primitive searching
skills indicate not. I have seen the entire Gundam Seed series. My feelings
towards it are lukewarm. I enjoyed the beginning, yet I was disappointed overall
@ the end.
So since Destiny sorta continues where Seed left off, I would like to know if
anyone thinks someone like me should give Destiny a chance?
well i wouldnt say destiny continues where seed left off. it kind of builds up
everything the characters experienced from seed and shows how the characters
respond to the new circumstances presented in destiny.
Well, hm... I can't really say from the little information you gave. Personally,
I like Gundam seed... to an extent. However, I was sorely disappointed at the
amount of fanservice Gundam SEED-Destiny has as well as the hype it's recieving.
Perhaps, you should read some of the posts around the forums here and, taking
into consideration what people have to say, decide for yourself. But just how
accurate is that? I'd say, pretty accurate considering.
But then again, maybe you should watch a few episodes to get a "feel"
for the story and decide from that.
this anime is actually good. but i think you should see Seed first, well.. just
episode 1-10, 30-35, 40-50..... You can understand well if you see that. And
then you can decide yourself, do you want to watch it or not... I recommend it
though.

I would say yes, give it a try. I was a bit afraid in the beginning that it
wasn' t going to be as good as Seed, but now I'm sitting there every week before
my computer screen waiting with impatience for the next episode to arrive ^_^
Just give it a try; it's the best way to find out if you'll like it or not.
I don't know whether to recommend it or not... Hm. The story kind of picks up
too slowly for me. It doesn't pick up until like 15 episodes in or something.
That's a bit long to wait. You could try watching the summary episodes. There
are still some good points to Destiny, though.

well, i know you lost the interest..but you could give it a try, There is some
anime that i lost my interest before.. but after i see some of the next episode,
I watched it everyday..
so why don't you give it a shot? well, its your choice anyway..

i'll say that this series is only good if u watch the first series ~ other than
that ... then no.
its all the usual ~ cool MS , characters randomly dying, acting all hero like (
1 vs 1000000 ), etc, etc ~
as for plot.... well since you watch the first one then might as well watch the
2nd season of it , so that you don't miss out the plots for the SEED series ~
I won't recommand anyone but I also won't discourage anyone to watch it. It is
one of the series that has absolutely no meaning at all. It is popular just
becasue it is gundam. It is a part of childhood which many of us aren't willing
to part with.

Destiny... my main complain is the degradation of the old cast mainly cagalli.
but i'm still watching it. so, can't say i hate it. and it's not finished

Well I don't like any of the Gundam series that's why I really can't say. As much as I have heard those series are worth watching.

I watched the first 5 eps, and it seemed like the first anime with different hair styles.
some dude: "hey, look..they stole the gundams, lets chase them accross the galzy in this new high class ship, and stop the war between the armies."
some other dude: "dude, didn't we like..do that in the last 50 eps?!"
