Obviously we all agree that Firefox is a much better browser than IE, the
question being that does your firefox display your homepage of MT correctly?
Well, if you are subscribed to some groups, the firefox will display the
boundary out of bounds, try view my homepage in firefox for a good example.
Also, the header has some unexpected formatting even though the HTML code i
wrote is right
I have tried viewing my homepage via IE, its normal. but Firefox displays
weirdly

firefox tops ie, just one reason, tabbed browsing..firefox doesn't eat that much
RAM as opposed to IE because ff doesn't need to open new windows..
I don't agree with you, that IE is worse than Firefox. After some time my
Firefox doesn't display any site correctly anymore. Some how it doesn't work
anymore after some hours... But MT is made for FF so I guess Firefox is better
in displaying MT.

rock solid tab browsing, plus anyone got the Mouse gesture extension for
firefox, its so freaking cool!
but i admit firefox has problem vieiwing MT and asian language websites,
with same font size and same text...
i tested it myself.. IE is a little crowded but havent seen any difference
viewing this thread in FF and IE...
ive used FF once before when IE just got dumb.. and never changed back..
i benefit in the using TAB system in FF.. but i like the alt+tab feature in
IE...
does anybody know how to do that?? i dont have a FF user manual...

alt tab feature can be closely emulated by using mouse gesture as an extension
in firefox
just go to ww.mozilla.org to download it
for example, go to the next tab would be up>right, just move your mouse,

i never visit MT with IE (because I don't ever use it, except for Windows

well i dont use IE besides asian sites
IE is better in asian sites because FF is using a different encoding scheme
you can spoof firefox to do windows updates too
I actually prefer IE, I never got the hang of tab browsing. I use IE for
everything. *shrug* No matter how many people say FF is better, I'm not to keen
on it. I only ever use it if I'm bored and feel like a change.
Hey, looks like the skins image server is back... I've got my normal MT skin
back! I've never had problems using Firefox, except with those sites that are
written in Microsoft's horribly mangled version of the W3 standard. It's also
possible to write a page that fully complies with W3 and not have it render
properly in IE
As for MT, isn't FF the recommended browser? I think file submissions had some
issue when done in ie...
I havent tried Firefox on here yet Im still using IE cause I installed Firefox
and I couldnt tell what was what cause my OS defaults to Japanese so all the
menus were in Japanese. When I finish off my userpage Im gonna reinstall Firefox
to upload it at least.

i use both firefox and IE for some reason... but MT's always been displayed
properly when i use IE. i only really use FF if i expect to be opening lots of
pages since it doesnt crowd my taskbar

yeah that is what i am experiencing right now, i have no idea why tho
I use FF, because its faster in uploading all web pages with noticable
differences on MT between FF and IE. Only had one problem with FF and that was
after a Windows update

I mostly check MT in firefox when repairing the MT servers. IE is just fscking crap.
