It actually seems to be a pretty common thing these days, I know its a private matter but does anyone cut themselves or used to?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by cut. either you mean contridicting yourself i do sometimes. or either you mean scars. I have a few. OR you mean self inflicting wounds because of depression i have never done that.

Yeah it seems to be an integral part of the whole Goth thing. I for one can't stand those types. I've got depression but I keep it cheery and don't try to come off like some dark broodling (mmm starcraft).

Nope l never cut myself but l do see people that completly cut thire own finger off though.

whats wrong with these people? are their lives that bad? i understand the logic behind it, but it doesnt make sense. cutting yourself to distract you from the pain? what kind of bs is that? its not helping your pain go away, your just adding more pain. even after the pain you gave youreslf is gone the pain you had before is still there. its just lunicy.

Depression has many faces, some of which could be considered a valid mental illness. Some people just can't help, however their live is going...

Goths are stupid, they are not unique or more intelligent than anyone else because they buy satanist bibles written by nobodies and spend hundreds or dollars on tarrots cards trying to look into their (self implied)hopeless futures. So if you see some idiot goth brooding over suicide (probably hoping to rise as a vampire), the fact is they won't go down the highway. The idea isn't natural and its against your most primitive instincts. Its part of a culture, suggested and performed by idiots willing enough to delude themselves long enough for some ritual self pity. I saw a whole movie on this, and it was just about some attension grabbing teenager whoring herself, just out of spite for her parents and slashing herself when ever someone looked at her wrong.
