For me... master of magic.. after i played it the world was never the same again

The best RPG for me was Baldur's Gate 2, the best shooter Operation Flashpoint
(still playing). These are my 2 favs. I can't choose, which one is all the best,
because the genres are too different
Unreal Tournament series (particulary the first one... a classic!) FF Series
(except for VII which sux) and most nintendo racers: Fzero and mario kart.
Chrono Trigger, Secret of mana, Diablo 2 (any version ^^) oh boy, the list could
grow a lot

hm round based strategy i think its heros of might and magic 3. mmorpg daoc befor Toa. Role play games Baldursgate 2. hack and slay Diablo >1.09

Right now, my addiction is FFXI!
I will stick with Final Fantasy VII ^_^.

A close recent contender would probably be Metal Gear Solid or Final Fantasy VIII
I'm still stuck on MGS, lol i just loved the story and still think that hideo kojima and konami need to get a movie contract damnit!
