I would like to start reading a new manga or watching a new anime series. I was
wondering what suggestions to take. Gundam Seed seems popular, and I've been
told to watch that before, but I don't really dig the futuristic mech theme. I
loved Trigun and Love Hina (I have a varied taste), and wouldn't mind something
like those two. Shojou is cool, just no excessive hentai please.
Since you live in the U.S. you have a lot of options available to you. Rather
than mention ninety billion choices, I recommend that you check some of the
online bookstores and read the summary pages online. You have so many choices
it isn't even funny.
I am really enjoying Tsubasa Chronicles, if you are into downloading something
unlicensed. Or if you are looking for something licensed and purchasable I
recommend either Hellsing, starting Full Metal Alchemist, or Spiral. That is a
very diverse selection. One of my alltime favorites is Hikaru no Go, which I did
not think I'd be that into, but I watched the whole series in 3 days.
I'd recommend GetBackers (both the anime and manga), The Prince of Tennis (only
the manga's licensed, but you can find fansubs of the anime), Fullmetal
Alchemist (both the anime and the manga), Rurouni Kenshin, anything by
CLAMP....umm if you want manga ideas, a good place to look would be the Tokyopop
homepage (www.tokyopop.com)
well apparently, i should buy the excel saga dvds. i heard its funny as hell,
and thats definitely something thats attractive to me in a show. so should i buy
it?
I've seen a couple episodes and they were really funny...so I'd recommend
it...also Sorcerer Hunters and Saber Marionette J are funny too, if you're
looking for comedy.
It's a bit old but have you sen Full Metal Alchemist? In the beginning, it seems
like a bunch of stories that are not connected. But about half way through, the
story gets really interesting...
