Since I got no answears in the avatar and signature thread, I made this topic so
that it might be noticed by someone who has any good ideas of what the problem
is.
So the problem is thatI can't upload a personal photo. I believe that either the
function is down or I'm doing something wrong when uploading.
I have tried to upload pictures with the sizes: 120x175, 174x413, 150x150, saved
as .jpg of course. I have also tried using different browsers(IE, FF and Opera)
but still no result.
no, the personal photo has to be a jpg picture. I have tested with a gif to but
it did not work neither and at least I got an error message from it saying jpg
was only allowed ^^
Personal photos are disabled at the moment, a leftover issue from the last
server hiccup. I don't think anyone's been able to upload new photos, and those
who had photos already in the system don't see them displayed anymore.
An alternative is to upload it to a different server and then have the image in
the personal section of your userpage using the <img> tags.

Try again as gif. Since both avatar and signature are only allow in gif files.

Ah okay. I was wondering why I couldn't upload a personal photo into the server. Looks like I'll have to use the <img> tag.
