hi-hi all it has been a while since i have made a fourum but i was wondering if
any of you have read the series "megatokyo" because it is fairly cool
to me and i was wondering who else reads this masterpice of sorts and thats all
cept for how you are doing and who is your favorite charicter so thats all so i
will see yall around
Oh yeah! I've been reading MT since it first showed up on the internet. I love
it, and I'm digging the omake that Fred is currently working on. Good
stuff!
Oh yeah, my favorite character is somewhat tied between Prio and Miho.
I still read Megatokyo (it's one of the few webcomics I still read, actually)
and I buy the books, but it's lost a bit of its luster, you could say. At least
for me. (Maybe the lack of a SGD strip since March has something to do with
this.)
But I still read it. The Haibane-inspired omake Piro's currently running is
interesting (the eyes on Memai [the Kimiko lookalike] seem very expressive now),
and I'm already waiting for the GTC with his new Mahoraba-themed servers.
I've only been ntroduced to it recently, but im really liking it.The omake is
really shapin up to be something. My favorite character's gotta be Largo,he's
just plain funny.Oh and Boo as well.
It's one of my favourites too - though the poor boys seem to be going through a
spate of relationship angst of late. Largo's definately my fav. Has anyone read
applegeeks or fallen? Both are also quite good in my opinion.
Megatokyo is by far one of my favorite web comics...the only other ones I read
with any regularity are Penny-Arcade, VG Cats and Forgive/Forget....but MT is by
far my favorite. I was able to meet Fred at Comic-Con last year. Was sad to not
see him this year though...if you haven't read it I highly recommend it!
I was introduced to Megatokyo last year by some friends at summer school. That
was the first webcomic I read. I have to say I like the comics from the days
when Rodney still did the scripts, but the maturity level of the Fred-only
megatokyo appeals to me also. I don't buy the books because I don't have the
money, but I have plenty of bandwidth. I did however get the n3kkid l337 shirt
and I love it. I look forward to chapter 7.
I read megatokyo, its a good webcomic, has a nice storyline and the artwork is
nice, though i'm not into like i was in before. But its still a good webcomic, i
highly recommend for people to read it.
I read megatokyo when ever I can, but I think it is starting to loose the spark
which got me interested in the first place. It is a little too slow these days,
and althought I don't mind charature devolpement, I'm starting to wish they
would get on with it.
I've been reading megatokyo for over a year now and I enjoy it. Even starting
from the beginning, I thought Fred did a good job of evolving the series from a
gamer/joke comic to something a little more serious. Sure, somethings are hit
and miss. But it's a nice way to take a five minute break. I'm still looking
forward to reading "warmth" whenever Fred stops being lazy and starts
to it. Which will probably be never, given his track record...
Megatokyo is just a rip-off...since the artist ain't Japanese, so it ain't
considered a manga..Besides, the drawing ain't that great..
Please go read sum REAL Manga............
I've been reading Megatokyo since it was around a year old. I really enjoyed it
before, but ever since Largo left, it's really lost it's shine. I mean Largo
the author/co-creator of the comic, not the character in it.
It used to be really funny, but now it's just so slow. It takes several months
to get anywhere in the comic and there's not many jokes anymore. I really miss
what Megatokyo used to be.

Please don't say things like that. It oddends people. Just because a person
isn't from Japan, it doesn't mean that they can't still make things that come
from Japan. I don't think megatokyo is really a manga anyway. It would be better
classified as a doujinshi. Just because you don't care for it doesn't mean you
have to say bad things about it, if I went into an xbox thread and started
bad-mouthing microsoft, what do you think would happen? And as for the art. If
you think you can do better, let's see; if not, don't talk, please.
Megatokyo is enjoyed my many and if you have legitimate reasons for making the
statements you did, please provide data to back up your claims. Don't just start
saying bad things about something with no basis for saying it. Take after the
person who has the spot above mine here. He at least stated a reason for saying
megatokyo has "lost its shine".

Hi
I used to be so big of a fan of megatokyo, I still have their comic books. However, for whatever reason, i just sort of got tired of it, lol

Have been into it for ages. I started reading it in its first month.

Megatokyo has been around for so long, while minitokyo is relative new
*hugs megatokyo* I love it. I stop reading after like 600 comics though. I was too busy to keep checking.

Too many fillers... and where did Dom go? I love the parodies on h-games paired with hardcore gaming. Don't see that much nowadays.
I used to read Megatokyo often, but for whatever reason, stopped. I plan to start up again, but don't really remember where I left off.
megatokyo is great, largo is awesome

I started reading it when chapter 2 started, I think. I like it a lot, specially Boo. Boo is l337.

I keep up to date on it.. I don't think I've read it 2day though. O_o
I've read every MegaTokyo.. lol
This proves I have no life. X.x
