HEHE...all of us like to watch anime for our age now and even older ...but wut
happens when we grew to our 30s and 40s ..does ppl who involve in different
career other than concerning about anime dont really have the interest to watch
anime ...well to me i will continue to pursued anime until i die ...my goal is
to be a graphic animation illustrator so ...anime is a must have in my life
....i wonder how bout others ...really curious about this question..^^ hopefully
there is still some supports anime during their 30s and older ...ANIME FOR
LIFE!!!
I have lived for many ages, I have seen wars , lost lovers , changed nations,
destroyer religions and defied the lord and the devil.
As for animes, I defy all laws to continue its creation and viewing.....
So even divine immortal swordsmen like myself still watch anime.
Well, I like to think that my interrest in anime will continue for everlasting
time, but unfortunately I doubt it will. Like most things you grow tired with
them in time. For example, first I stopped watching Disney and now I'm pretty
damned bored with all those Hollywood movies. My biggest entertainment media at
the moment is anime yet I can't truthfully say that I get as exited or restless
until the next ep would get released. So I'm sorry to say that I don't believe I
will continue to watch Anime to the grave =(
However I will always honour the memories I have from shows I once found
great. Just as I always praise Disneys Aladdin and Speilbergs Jurassic Park I
will with shows like Evangelion and Love Hina. Cause just because they don't
thrill me as much now or will in the future I once found them great, and that
will never change =)
Ps: Sorry for the long post, but I got kind of nostalgic just now
=´(
lol, well i've got a cousin who's 30 and he's still really into anime... i've
not yet reached middle age, but i've already made plans to make my future
children watch some anime! (you learn good life lessons in some of them! XP)
i dont see why people cant watch it as they get older. i mean its not really
considered to be childish, so the only reason for not watching it is if your
partner tells you to stop. even
then you still do it once in awhile. i have a friend in this situation... but
shhh.... i said nothing to you.
i know i'll continue to do so, and i have plenty of anime right now, so much i
havent even seen it all. but i
got my whole life ahead to watch it, and with new series comming out, that
source will never diminish. ^^
As long as there are good anime shows that interest me, I doubt I will ever stop
watching them as long as I live. Anime is entertainment that can appeal to both
the young and the old.
I might not be watching anime (not unless there is a sequel to a series that
I've seen) but collect the stuffs such as model toys and posters...lol hahah....
for me its not a matter of interest when i grow older, its a matter of time.
i'll always stick to my interest in anime. but as we grow older, there's lots of
other stuff to do, and the older you got, the more responsibility u have '
so yea, i'm sure i will still watch anime, provided that i can juggle
responsibility, time, work, and entertainment in my life. oh shucks! XO juz
writing down dat list doesnt look or sound good at all.
Well I was obsessed with many things for a while.
Britney Spears now hate her
Playing the guitar now havnt picked up in a year
Lara croft from tomb raider now think all her games suck
Iron Maiden the band now just listen to them
Anime ...........i shall tatoo I <3 Anime onto my forehead so I can forever
luv anime!!!!!
I'm in my 20s. My parents watch anime more than I do. We're all going to
Otakon even(and with the exception of my stepfather my family's been attending
otakon for over 5 years now.) 0.o
A lot of my friends that like anime are in their 30s or 40s. A lot of middle
aged women are getting into it oddly enough.
Anime doesn't really have an age restriction you know.
Ha, all you are kids next to me. I'm fast approaching 40, it'll be a while
still. I've been watching anime for a forgoten amount of time. I love the
classics like Urusei Yatsura, Mobile Suit Gundam, Legend of Galactic Heros all
of which has been around for over 20 years. Most of the newer stuff is like a
flavor of the month. I'll be watching anime long after you have grown bored of
it. As I tell people that think I'm just follow ing a fad, "I'm not, I was
here first."
You pose an interesting question. ...I am still interested in anime, although I
have pretty well grown up. ....i think... ...That when we've gained true
liberty, and we're ready to make our own stories, the anime will fade into
history. Life does have it's high points, after all, neh? ...Now all we
need to be is distracted from anime by it. Anime has very little to offer of
any lasting value, after all...
I am enjoying anime since I was 8. I am 29 now and still watching anime.
Not merely for enjoyment, but also for a lesson.
Anime teach me a lot of social skills. As how people would react in different
situations, or how they will react as a different person in the same
situation.
Anime helps me a lot in understanding people's mind and feelings.
And not just that, I learn many history of the world from anime and
manga.
I will make sure I am still watching anime even if I reach my granma age.
