dont you ever wonder why characters in anime or usually the guys always were the
same clothes and never change them just some thing the got stuck in my head lol
lol
yeah i wonder at times why the characters are always wearing the same clothing,
like their school uniforms on weekends
and i also wonder why some of their costumes look really weird
The only one who seemed to change clothes all the time was Fujiko from Lupin the
3rd. She had on something different for each episode. Otherwise, yes, it's
really strange how characters wear the same clothing...you think by now that Ash
Ketchum would make good use of a washing machine after about 3 years of wearing
the same outfit?
It's easy to animate I guess, with less time spent on designing new outfits...
It's one of the many reasons I love Card Captor Sakura because o the umpteen
thousand outfits she seems to have for everyday life, let alone those for her
Card Capturing
Other fashion challenged anime would have to Sailor Moon (that ugly green jacket
and salior uniforms/suits) or Slayers. Most anime are rarely out of school
uniforms. I suppose it would save on animation, but it does get annoying
sometimes. But then the character wears something different and you don't or
hardly recognise them *shrugs*

that is totally true...they probably havent heard of clothes shops in their
life....or they just probably have hundreds of them in their wardrobe! lolz
Well in series where the characters are in military uniform it should be obvious
why their clothes look the same. As far as I know the army has only 1
color.
I know I've seen Ataru from Urusei Yatsura in different outifts, and Lum does
not always were her tiger striped bikini. Althought it is known she wears it
underneath her other clothes.
Hmm. clamp is sure to change each character's clothes for every new day that is
in the manga. It's that way for all of their work. The Fullmetal Alchemist,
characters get their clothes changed in a way to represent time. Edward has a
different outfit for each age that he is throughout the manga.
I always wonders why girls must wear skintight spacesuit in every space soap
opera. Or why they wear skirts at winter/cold/windy days. Or why the guys have
plain and boring outfit... lol ^^,

Yeah I think about that sometimes too... like when do they laundry their clothes?

A few good examples of uniform-obsessed characters:
-. Kagome from Inuyasha
-. Kanzaki Hitomi from Escaflowne
-. Miaka from Fushigi Yuugi
maybe coz the illustrator is to lazy??? or maybe those characters don't have another clothes....

Naruto sorta changes his outfit in the movie >>

Gezz, the guys are probably too lazy to change it. Could have at least changed something. The guys are too lazy. I'll just leave it at that.......

I know! It's funny that its like that.

lol yeah I also think it's kinda funny that they don't change clothes.
Probably they don't have the time to draw the characters always with different clothes... it takes time,etc...
still, it's funny to think that way xD
sure if you have seen xenosaga the anime you must have seen shion in the same dress all in the story... ei ei ei
may be in FF unlimited too.
PS. aren't they have take some bath??
that is confusing I wonder why they do that???
ha! i thought something like that during gundam wing....
in my head i was like, "how many pairs of spandex can one boy own?!!?"
oh well....

Some series are better than others. In CCS Sakura has tons and tons of outfits :b
The creators are probably too lazy to create a new outfit each time. Imagine designing a costume for like 10 characters every week !
because when they do change clothes its like a special treat to see them in diff outfits
