I'm currently working on the hospital this summor for four weeks.
I record old U-matic tapes of operations to DVD discs. Really simple, but
sometmes it's messed up with names and who is who etc but it often works out
fine
So now I sit here by the computer at work, surfing MT and alittle else, watching
over a 15min long operation being recorded, so there not much to do under that
time until I have to stop the recording, change tape, record again, then name
the files recorded etc. so it's pretty nice and simple work
So what do you guys do for living, any intereting things going on?
oh, that's kind of interesting, when I was smaller I thought about starting such
a company for the neighberhood but only to fix computer for a small fee to make
some money, the idea wasnt set in plan thought ^^
I't must be hard to have it running well if it's not a large store, or maybe it
is?
Yeah and I love the job to be honest...getting up and start working at 4 AM is
hard sometimes but it's quite nice to be all alone outside and walk in the empty
streets while delivering the papers. The whether now is excellent as
well...
Only in Winter it quite sucks if I have bad luck -__-'
Well my job very simple. Simplier than most of the people I see in Minitokyo.
My job is a libarian. It a job that deal little with computer or anything
related. The closest thing come to working with computer is looking up book in
the computer. I guess that is the reason why I had trouble with posting some of
the picture in Minitokyo. All you "genius" out there seem to know
lots about computer.
my last job was to analyze reject optical pick-up products in a semicon
company. After getting the cause of reject I formulate countermeasures to avoid
re-occurrence. It tooks a lot of thinking but continuous study and practice will
help a lot.
I cant say i work yet, but ive got something else to brag on XP
Maturity exams were not too long ago, exams that decide your future by a giant
degree... actually, things are tuning so that no exam - no work. And those exams
were buggy as hell, also, examinators ditched their work, so the points in many
instances werent counted well. Due to those facts, over 50% of mturists
failed... But im proud that even despite those circumstances, i still graduated,
whats more, ive been accepted as a student on a Medical University, known for
their high requirements! w00t! I still dunno how that all happened :P

hey Phong, I work in a library to. I am at work right now and this is all I do.
I am just a clerk at the front desk and most of the projects I get take about
five min at the most. So most of the time I just run around online, it is
actually kind fun working in a library. There is way more to it then I would
have guessed.
I have a frustrating existence. I work in insurance billing. It is my job to
find how much, if anything, the insurance company will pay for a service and
under what circumstances we can expect payment.... blah... blah...
suzuki: you guys make pretty good money huh? In my school we have a program for
mechanics and after they graduate they most often have a work with good pay
waiting since there are lots of machines needing repairs with all the industries
in the world and they even get work during the summer vacation and makes loads
of more money then I do at this jobb and I think this jobb is fairly good. They
also get "real" working expearience so that they can get a work easier
when they graduate.
It's almost like cheating to go that program since eveyone else has to studie
alot more after graduation, maybe not all but most
sarsi: hoooh? mind taking that so that a normal non-english person can
understand it well?
Kuzain: lucky you, I also like to take photos of stuff but I don't have a good
camera though
I've heard that it's hard on photographers with copyright etc. anything that
concerns you?

It's strange because photography was always
something I was into but sometimes I hate the job I'm doing and it makes me feel
bad for hating photography. Sometimes I get interesting or exciting work but
other times I'm just doing something really simple for an ad (think of all the
boring pictures you see in ads where it's just a guy standing there and smiling
or a family sitting down) and those can be frustrating because they can take a
while to get right and you have to get several different shots.
Copyrights can be a bit of trouble because sometimes I take a photo and I own it
and other times I take a photo and the person in the picture owns it and still
other times I take a photo and someone who wasn't even there that day owns it.
For the most part, I can still use photos I've taken to show off my work to
prospective employers even if they are owned by someone else. Since I only do
it part time (it's really just something I do for fun since I don't really need
the money it gives) I don't usually fight very hard to keep the rights to the
work since it usually pays a little better to just let the company own it.
Lets see full time student (which is close enough to a job ) as
well as working part time at Dominos as a delivery driver (part time my ass I
work 6 - 7 days a week) and my 2nd job is delivering the state newspaper to
shops. Im also my father's carer which is also a job...well the goverment pays
me for it so I guess its a job heheh
I'm doing Point of Purchase designs in 3Dsmax to show to the clients.
In a way the job is cool since I use programs I like, but in another way I'd
rather like to continue with my own stuff.

I' ve created my own society in Bordeaux. I sell and repair computers.

I'm...a paperboy

hehe, you don't do as in the old paperboy game to megadrive, driving your bike trying to destroy as much as possible with the papers?
It must be nice for such a walk, to think about things and relax but still 4AM, that's like 2hour from when I went to bed :P
Meh the system in The Netherlands is totally different...we can't throw the papers away
We have to put them in the mailbox with much care (as if I do that...) and that at every house...the horror!
It's really nice indeed to think things through and relax...the best time to do it is around that time since it's nice outside and quiet.
well, they don't throw them here in sweden either, they do about the same thing as you
In the US, they are allowed to throw papers anywhere in front of the house.
preferably on the walkway towards the front door.
As for my job, I'm working at a children daycare center for the summer. (the horror....)
i'm start working on august
doing work as maybe a playboi?
no, but seriously, tell us :P

I'm so used to computers so :d
i started when I was maybe 10 or something, mostly playing games then though.
Do you like to read books or are you only working for the money?

I'm mechanic in a really big tire factory. Whenever a machine malfunctions we gotta fix it as fast as possible to keep production up.
I am a gman. Basically, a government grunt that is overworked and underpaid...Also unappreciated...hehe...Oh wells.
I have a frustrating existence. I work in insurance billing. It is my job to find how much, if anything, the insurance company will pay for a service and under what circumstances we can expect payment.... blah... blah...
I do photography. Mostly for ads but occasionally for articles, news, or projects. The rest of the time I go to school or donate my time.

Hmm..interesting you've all got.
As for me I'm still a fulltime student with a parttime job as a cook in a restaurant.
