So we all love anime(of course). Many of us has different reasons for loving anime(the characters, animation, etc). What is your reason?

i vote for character n storyline but i hates the flashbacks

First and first, I simply love the artwork (character design and background/world). Following closely are the storyline and soundtracks. In short, I simply love anime.

Where else will you find anyone who takes animation seriously? Live-action is an inferior format for most purposes, there's very little freedom to make changes without it looking wrong.

There are many reasons: I love the kind of drawing the Animes...I love the japanese language...There are animes for every age and for everyones individual taste...The stories are cool...etc.

I like anime cause lots of them are funny and the characters look cool.

For me it's just fun to watch. I am a little manic and it gives me something to do. I do like the art and the storyline and the characters, but for me it's just about enjoying spending time doing it.

I love anime because of its great and unique style of artwork and also its great storylines. I've never seen any cartoons other than animes that follows a logical storyline (meaning a problem, resolution, climax, ending). Most other cartoons cartoons are just a bunch of episodes featuring the same characters in different situations but without a real storyline.

i grew up with anime since i was born so there is no way i can hate it, part of my childhood

what's there not to love? pretty artwork, pretty music, nice plot, not to mention it's more entertaining than most shows nowadays. >.> sorry i just don't like reality shows.

thats simple, takes me out of reality and its cruel world. its also more liek a stress relieaver because for some reaosn anime's are so hilarious. and there are some that will bring you to tears but all in all anime is a great source of entertainment. and cant miss the art its awesome.

well when you campare anime plot themes with american the plots are really thought out to a point where the show gets suspensefull i for example [not good ones but oh well] i love felix the cat great show when it used to cvomon andi never stoped watching it but if you compare that show to a show such as uuh hack sign the plot is really thought out i gess thats why tsukasa doesent have new adventures every ep unlike felix. this is why i like anime kuz from growing up disney and looney tunes always had just random adventures every ep but for anime each ep leads on to the end of the story [story] so i just found it facinating on how the japanese were able to make a animated show into a suspenseful story it kina gets you to the point were you forget it is an animated show which is what i like. and uuh manga does that pretty good aswell. i used to read simpsons comics and they sucked compared to naruto because of that very same reason, the plot of the simpsons was more like a new adveture kinda thing yet at times they would flash back from previous sceens in the other comics and as for naruto[and many other manga] you would have a too be continued which means buying the next manga book to see what happenes this is why i love manga they way they make there shows and books realistic in a sence that these people in the comics dont live in a timeless world like loony toones adventures i hope i made sence ^_^.......*_* meh

I just love the animation and the stories......but i don't love the recaps....^_^

Anime is much funnier than other cartoons and there are lots of action
and there is anime for everyone, just choose you favourite genre.
Ofcourse anime is great cause it's drawn more better than other cartoon.

I like anime because I like comparing myself to other chars that are like me....like Uo chan from Fruits Basket; I'm alot like her!!(Except I don't swear...^^)and Cagalli is alot like me too!! I'm aggressive in a way... Also, the art is beatiful; If I saw an anime with trashy art I wouldn't watch it....the story sometimes just makes sense and it's fun to know more....but the problem is how they keep you to get more...I'm the tend of person who likes to see something about 3 times and don't watch it again.....that's why I hate buying DVDs and Manga, cause most likely I won't read them and watch them again, so I consider it a watse of money.....

Why I like Anime?
well, because of the unique style and storylines.
I don't like all anime, Rizelmine was horrible...

I prefer manga over anime (but that's not the point). I like manga because I've always liked fantasy and art and writing, which is what manga is made up of. But then I guess you could say I like american comic books...but I don't. There's just something about anime and manga that makes them so enjoyable!

mmmm...i like anime cuz is funny, i mean the character are funny or interesting, like all of anime, most the girls * Im not a lesbian*, but they are cutier and their clothes are cool!!
