i was reading something about them a while back and it said cagalli was 15 and
kira was 16 ... if they're twins shouldn't they be the same age?? someone care
to explain??
-edit- they're both the same age but who's older?? (that would be a matter of
opinion i think because i don't think anyone knows who's older)

It's anime it was never made to make sense I mean they are so young and yet they
act like adults. Plus aren't all the ages all screwy since I don't think any of
them actually exceeds 30 years of age.

both Kira and Cagalli are sixteen - their birthday on May 18th. If it isn't
obvious, Gundam Official, is an official site for all things Gundam... use that
site as a secondary source of information - the first, of course, being the
series itself (in the original Japanese format). Try not to rely so much on
fansites and other unofficial publication - they're often wrong and biased. I

I think they're twins in the sense that they came from the same embryo. Cagalli
was grown in the womb of their mother and Kira was genetically engineered. So
age wise they are different but they are still technically twins.

coordinator, since with Dr. Hibiki, Kira's dad, he only genetic engineered Kira
not Cagalli, and doesn't it make sense that Cagalli is a naturalist, and Kira a
coordinator, and Cagalli is a stubborn, she jus wants to be the oldest child in
the family ^_^

Im not really sure that Cagalli is a natural if i remember correctly Cagalli
went into seed after all three of here friends died during eps. 48-50 with the
battle between Earth, Zaft and Orb.
As for Cagalli and Kira's age..........im not sure i just like to think that
Kira's the older one, but thats just me

Cagalli is really a natural. you can see some scans about it. and why Kira is
coordinator is because his father made him to be like that with his experiment.
and if i'm not wrong Kira and Cagalli's parents are natural too.

people, look through Gundam Official first or rewatch the series and get your
information straight. There, it clearly explains that both naturals and
coordinator can possess the ability of seed, Cagalli is in fact a natural, and
she and Kira are twins (same age, same birthday). The only thing that's there to
discuss, without going too far off topic is who should or acts like the
older sibling - in which case, I'd have to say that Kira acts more mature...

brother, what proof does she have? For all we know, they could have been born at
the exact same time (despite the high probability that they weren't). Remember,
Cagalli was born naturally from their mother and Kira was born from an

I never really thought about it. But in all the fanfictions Ive read, Cagalli was older. But what do they know? xD
