i was reading this book about Yin ( female qi) and Yang ( male qi) and noticed that they use Dragon for the male and Tigeress for the female. i wont get into detail about the book ( not for under 18)

why do they associate those two symbols with the human sex?? i think it is very spiritual and yet romantic in away. just curious and observant.

if there is a thread like this sorry but i did check

nether Me or My "dragon" know :)

Perhaps it's just a cultural thing. In the west, especially in Germanic and Celtic countries, the wolf is traditionally associated with men. That's why so many medieval warriors in history and literature have names associated with wolves, dogs, hounds, etc. (cf. Cu Chulainn 'The Hound of Culann'). But who knows?

if you look at you understand, one side needs the other to be complete, and the colours (black and white_represent male and female, which mean they are not different nut they need each other to be one.

Yes you do! But in the USA it's the "star quarterback and the cheerleader" ;)

i dont know what's the relation between the two. at least they associate humans with animals.
