I was writing down my investigations, and I thought "there are a lot of FF
fans at Mini Tokyo" so I decided to share this information. It has been
confirmed that the giant dragon that Cloud faces in some of the trailers, is
none other then the enigmatic Bahamut (yeah!)! The japanese version of Advent
Children is now available for pre-order in three diferent editions, the Regular
Edition, First Print Limited Edition and the Ultimate Edition, otherwise known
as Advent Pieces. The movie was originally going to last 60 minutes, but it has
been extended to 97 minutes. The japanese version is to be released September
13th, and the US version September 14th. Both DVD and UMD formats are to be
released together on the same dates.
Also worthy of note, there will be 3 other compilations of FF VII coming out, a
mobile game (Before Crisis FF VII), a PS2 game (Dirge of Cerebrus FF VII) and a
PSP game (Crisis Core). Anything else you want to know about anyone of the above
compilations, write. Maybe I can answer.

Bahamut is being called (for now) Bahamut SIN.
Sephiroth actually make an appearence in the film.
Its spelled Dirge of Cerberus, not Cerebrus.
The office of Strife Delivery Service is located at 7th Heaven, which also acts
as an orphanage for the children stricken with Geostigma.
The original project was not far from the PS3 tech demo. It was going to be a
demo made by Square and their CGI artists at Visual Works, but ended up becoming
a movie.
The Bahamut SIN battle takes place in a city near Midgar, called Edge.

In Japan, FF AC will be shown in theaters before the release date. No tickets
are needed, but there is a catch. You have to be invited, and only members of
ShinRa Company are being invited. Not only that, but site is not accepting any
new members.

A video was released that showed the identity of the wheelchair person, but
since its a spoiler, I cant say who it is.

Edit 5> Anyone been to Wall-Mart? Didnt find the DVD or UMD? Thats because
the US release has been delayed... again. But the japanese release went on as
planned. New US release date is scheduled to be sometime November. Anyone pissed
off? I know I am.
Also worthy of note, the Ultimate and Advent Pieces Edition are only being
considered for the US release. Nothing official.
Edit 6> The reason the US version has been delayed is due to three characters
that have not found their voice actors. Nomura said they could not find anyone
that "fit" the characters.

Yes, Vincent is the main character in DoC, but Rude and Reno arent the
protagonists of BC. Two men (that use melee weapons) and three women (that use
gun weapons) are the selectable characters, but you do run into familiar faces.

Its an animated video based on the events before Final Fantasy VII, and will
include Zack, Tifa, Cloud and Sephiroth. It will be available with the
"Ultimate" FF VII AC movie. I will upload an image or two afterwards
so everyone can see it.
Im also planning on talking about Before Crisis and Dirge of Cerebrus, but when
will depend on how many replies this thread gets.

Funny story, a couple weeks ago I was d/ling stuff off Limewire and I decided to
search for the movie in case someone had taped it at the screening. So I find
the file and d/l it, when I get to watching it, turns out to be a french film,
no subtitles, lol!

The official release date hasnt been established yet, but it will be released in
