today i noticed that legend has written on his head the word undici and i-justice diciannove.

I'm from italy and undici is 11 and diciannove is 19

is there a particular reason behind this or just because is cool to have a name in a foreign language? (for me it's not cool at all, since I don't like very much my native language in anime)

no, not that reason.

Infinite Justice's head crest displays the text "x-19a diciannove", which means "Nineteen" in Italian and is a reference to the Infinite Justice's model number. <---quoted from some site

same goes for SF

When Strike Freedom was shown in the 3rd opening animation and in Phase-39, its head crest displayed the words "Liberta Modifica", which literally means "Modified Freedom" in Latin. From Phase-42 onward, the words now read "x-20a venti", which means "Twenty" in Italian and is a reference to the Strike Freedom's model number. <--- quoted from some site

i don't know why they put it in italian, maybe it's just for random reasoning.... =.=

since this is GSD related thread, you should really post it in the GSD thread

In my opinion, i think its kinda messed up to use foreign names when u don't know the meaning of it. ^.-

For me it is quite hard to understand......and it also makes me confusing..... ^_^' i think it is good to learn more foreign language....... :) XD

but learning a foreign language is haard

i was not that good in latin but liberta modifica doesn't mean anything. in italian is libertà modificata, but it sounds awful.

i know there's a gsd topic alredy, but i created a new one because it was totally unrelated with gsd storyline.

Just to let you know, the four enemy gundams in seed(buster, blitz, aegis, duel) all had numbers on their forheads also. Since Duel was the blueprint of the other gundams(or was it buster x.x), it was number 1( I forgot the words in italian printed on it). Then the next one had deuce( I think) and te Blitz was third. Then it was aegis, then Strike. If you want to see the words on their forheads, I think it is in the first opening song of Seed.

well if i remember right all the gundams i have had before had some number one it... i just dont remeber where
