hey there guys welpz this is the 1st time i am trying out 4 sumthing at skool. i
am trying 2 try out 2 b a skool leader and it's really hard 2 think ><...
i just need a lil tiny speech about y pplz should vote 4 me and so far all i hav
in mind is helping out pplz and the skool. but i kno thats not enough and it's
just so hard 4 me 2 think *sighs* it's my 1st time as well. can ne1 give me sum
tips or ideas to boost me
oo, school politics, man that takes me back. well im
not really good at delivering speecches or whatnot seeing as im some what of an
anti-socialist and all. but
thats pretty much it, you talk about the issues that are going on in your school
and say how you will fix them. throw in a couple of issues all the students have
in common and hope that you make enough of an impact for them to remember your
name. you dont want them to vote for whoever when the time to vote comes. so get
your name out there A LOT. good luck. =]
Well, you can ask people what they don't like about the school maybe....(sorry I
don't really know alot about this field cause my school doesn't have anything
like class president or anything like that....^^;;) Well....yeah....I'm sorry I
dont know much to help....But I wish you luck. ^_^
Well.....you could try sayin that you would improve the study condition of the
school, handphones allowed in school, students could enjoy priviledges(give
example). You could also be a councilor to them and solve any problem they
accounter....etc
I've ever been selected to be the chairman of my school before......now i'm just
a senior prefect at my high school^_^
You should tell them that you can be trusted and understand what people needs

Perhaps you can point out that you will do your best to represent or lead those
at the school for whom you will be the leader. If there is a specific point(s)
of view you know are the subject of debate at school, and you have an opinion,
the consider stating it so people will know you can express your beliefs....

Maybe u can ask the students what they think of the school and yeah...take it
from scratch. not really helpful, right?

Well, firt you have to make your speech unique, cause there will be others
trying out for it and they will all be offering the ssame things, you either
have to present the speech in such a way that its better than theirs or you have
to offer soemhting that will make people want to vote foe you. Theres no point
being nervous.

emotion to fill the spot"
so what your going into year.... 10? 11? dont worry.
If you really want o be a leader, people Should pick ti up and vote.

so this speech is going 4 skool captain in yr 12 and now we hab to vote and all
that
making my speech unique is a great idea but offering to students is hard 2 think
of coz they all mostly the same normal things lik help them out and give advice
to those that need help etc
Like what Flummox said, either make your speech really entertaining, or offer
something that noone else does
putting in 'ill be happy to give advice to anyone who wants it' doesnt really
help, cause noone will actually approach you for help anyway.
At my school, being captain is just a popularty contest, whoever is the most
popular gets the job, thank god im not cool ^^
