there are three systems. supercancel mode, max-2 mode and guard break
mode.
supercancel is like an always activated max mode you can cancel a lot of moves
for the cost of 1 stock gauge (very cheap for characters like king or
vanessa)
max-2 is the only system that allow you to perform hdsm, but you can't roll with
A+B (this mode totally sux)
guard break is like garou mark of the wolves system with a unblockable CD
attack.
If you press L2 with every system your character will flash red and become more
powerful but your life will slowly decrease.
The final boss is a younger version of geese that looks a lot like andy
bogard.
I didn't like this game as much as kof2002, but it's a good game
I played KOF New Wave and its nice to play, had a lot of character to play with,
the sceneries are pretty good, but the character still look like console games
I'm planning on buying this game.... for PS2....

well rent it first and with gamestop and eb boutiqe you have up to a few days to bring it back with a recipt i think.

Only KOF game i've played was maximum impact, and it wasn't that good

false. rock howard is not in this game, only his father geese, in a younger version.

I definitely suggest that you hold onto your money till kof11 comes out. Neowave is a pathetic sales attempt at Playmore's part.
KOF 2K2 and 2K3 are more worth playing and considering that you get them both in one disc, it's cheaper, too.
