i would like to suggest that the listing of scan types and what they mean (like
male scan means one or more male characters in the scan and group scan means one
or male and one or more female character in one scan) but put into the FAQ...
because i browse various types of scans of different category everyday and often
see scans being put in the wrong type for each category which i find rather
annoying
(mostly male scans get put into group scans etc)
i remember reading a thread about the types and what they mean but i can't find
it anymore and nothing about scan types is in the FAQ...so i thought it'd be
useful for newcomers
I should think the name of the category is self-explanatory -- "male
scans" should have scans of guys, "female scans" of women, etc.
You are right, people don't make the logical connection that they should; so
many scans with people in them (belonging in the male, female, group or couple)
categories just get dumped in misc scans or all female/all male scans with
several people in them get thrown into group scans because users don't care. If
you do see miscategorized scans, be sure to report them so that they can be
reorganized in the right place.
The problem with putting such information into the FAQ is that I don't think a
third of MT has even READ the FAQ, making
it a moot point.

sorry if this suggestion is dumb
