ok im a little bit confused on this i here it and see so many links its geting
to the point i dont wonta wallpaper anymore becuse its like im breaking the law
that will get me killed. anyways when you say rip are you meaning i take lets
say gundam zz starlight picture ( which is god like) and put my name their or
like take the girl and then some how cut her out. i guse my quistion is this in
short. why is their so much complaining and all about this when you cant berely
draw a tree and failed every drawing class you have had you cant draw. nuriko

creative! Don't use other's fanarts and suggest you not to use official arts
also--- but it's not our jurisdiction anyway, we are only prohibiting the
reusing of fanarts (including original illustrations) in this union, so it's

can't", try to draw one and use it in your website! Even if that is an
unsatisfying one, that'll be original, more entertaining, and more fun website
to both you and guests. We think that website is a place where the webmaster

now i find that a little harsh of someone to post something like that yes i
admit i take walls and then use the extracting tool for just something i wont
and im done with that picture why well sure i could go out and learn spelled
tons of money on a scanner and paper,pencils etc but im not and i cant draw
which is more none sense

~Ripping is the manipulation of an existing wallpaper (the whole) and submitting
it as their original work.
~ Extracting a character out from an existing wallpaper isn't ripping, however
it is frowned upon since the original waller most likely have spent time
cleaning the character itself. Any respectable waller will know NOT to extract a
character from a wall without proper permission.
With that said, if you didn't make it just don't upload it. I don't think it can
get any more simple than that =p
Why do you need to extract characters from existing wallpapes, thats what the
scans are for. Like cloudnine said, if you didn't make it don't upload it.

technically NOT a "rip" if you did that....However, lets just say you
have to create the BG for the wallpaper yourself to be considered not a
rip....
These are considered rips as well: official wallpapers, using other ppl's BG,
manipulating other ppl's BG, just plainly taking another person's wall and say
its yours, etc.....
basically it all boils down to what kastelic said: "if you didn't make it
by urself then don't upload it" ....
look, pitty shouldnt be a factor here. It's not the artist's problem is you dont
have any money. It's not a reason for stealing their work. A wallpaper is artwork, and ripping is stealing. and
theres no good enough reason for stealing.
Extracting a character out of a wall is something else, like cloud-kun just
