Now, before we begin, I mean some of the older ones such as Iron Maiden, Zepellin, Whitesnake, Megadeth and Stratovarius.

I've recently started listening to a lot of Iron Maiden stuff again and also some Blind Guardian, Stratovarius and Whitesnake. I was wondering whether there were some fans of similar bands and if they could make any recommendations for other albums and artists I should check out.

Well like Stone Temple Pilots....and maybe some Guns&roses...well i like them...
yep and some Metallica

okay a very classic : the rolling stones of course, i just simply love their tune . i listen to a lot of led zep rock too, and some scorpions. but i also like recent rock too. queen is a must hear too, they really made some cool songs (bohemian rhapsody is one, along others ^_^)

Oh yeah heavy metal rocks. Just started listenening to Iron Maiden then AOL took off all their songs

Well Iron Maiden are really cool my favorite song for them is "Mother Russia"

Creed - Linkin Park - Metallica.

actually, its german punk, but I really like the fact that they give shows for free or at a very cheap price, they're good..but not metal

yeah heavy metal is the stuff!

I'd recommend you check out Pink Floyd

I had thought of checking out Pink Floyd, but never gotten round to it. I'll see if I can pick up a cheap CD. Any album recommendations?

Dark Side of The Moon and The Wall

the wall is quote expensive though, so i would recommend either getting the movie or the vinyl, I have all 3, but Im a die hard PF fan ^_^
