Hello all I was just wondering if any buddy out here can help me and a couple of
my friends with a problem that we are having. What we are trying to do is make a
VPN over a WAN connection and we can get it to work with one person but we are
not able to get anybody else to be able to sign on after that. Any help would be
thankful.
If you're using OpenVPN (2) you cannot have multiple clients. I've been looking
into that as well. It's probably some configuration issue. In the meanwhile I
use ssh and scp.
if its anything like my set up i have mine i have mine set for a PPTP (point to
point tunnel protocal) and then my router it self has a PPTP pass thur option in
it basiclly insted of you your self useing the connection you made the router
will auto connect it and then you need to set up static ips for your network
i got your answer right here! its called hamachi. google it. its free and i use
it all the time to lan with my friends across the states. easy to use and a good
sized following in their forums.
-cheers
