My userpage was messed up a couple of hours ago and I menaged to fix it with this handy browser. Breadcrust told me about it and if any of you want a super browser.... Get this one. Its similar to firefox and can show any kind of HTML there is.

You can download it at these links:

This is already out, why are you even using a early alpha version of that program?
It's got tons of problems, bug, and other what not secuirty issues. It's tended for developers and testers. So it's better to just use the Current stable version of FireFox 1.0.6

Deer Park is the code name for the next FireFox when it's released it will
be called FireFox 1.5

For testing purpose only.
Deer Park Alpha 2

Deer Park Alpha is not compatible with most themes and extensions. Thus if you have many extensions and plugins loaded in your current firefox, they would likely not function in Deer Park Alpha 2.

Ha, two three out of five people who posted this are on my friends list (including Gerrit)...

Is Deer Park going to become offically part of the Firefox family? I don't see the point in getting it if it is an unstable version of Firefox...

Like tiki223 says, Deer Park is the development name for Firefox 1.5. The devs renamed it to attract less attention while they stabilized it. The first beta should be out soon.

Hmm, I don't really think you're supposed to post downloads here. If you consider this "pirated software or something like that," then you can't post it. I'm not really sure. You can read MT Policy under "Posting Policy" for more info.

Deer Park isn't pirated software. Why (How actually... XP ) would Mozilla pirate there own open source software?

Woot another firefox update sweet...
i rahter use FF then IE
so much better i think

the deer park made a mess out of my system so I went back to just the standard firefox :)

Firefox 1.5 beta 1 was released yesterday.

Yeah, dont go with these development versions unless you dont mind spending a little time fixing things up if it doesnt all go to plan.

You'd be suprized how many of the popular extensions work in Deer Park already. Although not many have been marked as compatable with Fx 1.5 beta 1 just yet (I expect to see more in these coming weeks).

The main reason I'm using these Fx devel releases is because they are alot faster for me. Fx 1.0 on my particular Linux setup was very slow and felt generally bloated, but 1.5 is nice and fast again, just like back in the 0.x days.

I installed Deer Park alpha once to see how it is.

It also deleted all my bookmarks!

Did it happen to say anything to you about profiles when this happened?

In response to breadcrust's comment, I qualify my last post with the note that most of the extensions I encountered that failed in beta 1 and deer park beta 2 were ones that are less than "popular" in the firefox extension world. Meaning things other than the ones that get tens of thousands of downloads and are updated very regularly. Some of the extensions I find most useful for me have updates once in a few months, meaning it may take a while before a new version comes out.

No.
Ahh who cares, it's all gone now so it's okay.
At least I copy all the links to a word doc. :)

I've got Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 running on an old test machine and the two show-stoppers for me are:

1. Flash is (plug-in) broken
2. Image Zoom (extension) broken.

Ah, well...
