Hand Drawing.
You have a better control of the picture.
computer drawing.
Too expensive. You have to spend like $100 or more on a decent tablet.
Also programs needs to be compatible, and there
can't be any conflicts with other existing programs.
I personally like both looking at and making hand drawn pictures. I dont know
why exactly I like looking at them, but I'd rather draw with a pencil because
you have more control, and you dont need a tablet and compatable software. I
like the feel of lead touching paper more then plastic touching glass too.
i like both. both mediums have a different vibe to them and pictures that have
been handrawn have a more "homegrown" look to them. i think hand
drawn pictures are great. I also computer pictures because there are just some
really cool things you can do with computers that you can't by hand drawing
them.
I like hand drawings better, cg ones are just too weird for me and they take
longer. and yes lead touching paper is way better. If I can, sometime I'll get
on my dad's pc and scan some ofmy pics i drew from .hack.

Yeah... I like hand-drawing because, like *everyone* has said, there's more
control. I suck at computer drawing, so a hand-drawn picture usually turns out
more the way you wanted it to because you have more control over what you're
drawing. However, it's hard to get colors the way you want them when drawing by
hand (although the Copic airbrush system is pretty nice ^^;;; ) so sometimes
it's fun to draw and ink by hand, then scan into Photoshop to clean up the lines
like genivia said, and to color, so it's... both...? Oo;
I like both worlds too. I really like the hybrid idea, drawing the line-art by
hand then scanning it and then coloring it and adding effects. Too bad my
scanner doesn't work and the only thing I could do for now to show in my gallery
is a pure-computer draw work. I do better by hand with things like that but
computer is my preferred way to color. Oh well, if you ever look I humbly hope
you like my pure computer fanart of Abi-Hime. The hand drawn one is MUCH better
but without color since for that I need a working scanner.
wow....so that is what that lil "d" does..............ugh... starting
over ^ ^;
hand drawing because...i love it overall...i feel that you can be more
expressive w/ a pencil than a mouse...you can se the difference in the pressure
you made on the lines and all....i also feel that it takes more practice to
become an accepted great artist...no one can really"teach" you how to
draw...you develop skills in your own sense...but on the other hand w/ computers
there are "tutorials" i knw they are the basics of creating art, and
you can be more creative on ur own...but even t o do that..you have to have the
materials to start with...computer art is expensive, i knw i dont have the money
or the time, to go buying stuff that could cost as much as a college course, i
knw its the case w/ alot of other ppl...i'm not saying its all bad tho...its
really, very appealing to the eye i love
finding new wallpapers...but then...i'd rather truly look at and study hand
drawn things...
traditional way -- hand drawing...well, it's just that I'm not so good with
softwares...then again, I'm one top student in my animation course...I'm a 2D
guy who prefers hand drawings all the way
What do you favor more, Hand drawings or computer generated ones? I'm curious because this is a big debate in my school.......

For me..if i can ever draw in RL will be much better..
since i got no artist hands i guess i'll go with computer generated...

uhm both.

I like both too but I guess I'd prefer computer generated ones more. They're more colorful and well...they look better! ^^;;
-> I also like both, because both teaches me how to refine my techniques (I use both for educational purposes). (:
I like both too.
But I prefer character made by hand drawings. Background can made by CG or hand drawing I don't care.
I like both
but I prefer hand drawings for characters and cg for background
I agree, the best drawings are the one who use both.
One complete the other

Ohhhhhhh, I didn't know that but I'm very gratefull to everyone who took the time to answer my question.
Combination of the two, best of both worlds.

hand drawing, as it reveals your true talent. As for computer drawing, you can duplicate another's art really easily and make it yours.

I sketch by hand and color on computer...
Well, my CG skill is really bad..but my hand coloring is horrible either, so I like pencil sketching bestXD
erm hand drawing....because i dont know how to use computer to draw.....>.< plus i am left handed how to use mouse to draw? hard....
