Right now, Sheqiiee and I are discussing matters for maybe having a mascot for Minitokyo! If we DO get a mascot, then this particular mascot will be sold on t-shirts, posters, wallpapers, etc.
If we were to have this sort of style shown here for the mascot... would you prefer that to anime-styled/chibi-styled?
Would you want the mascot to look sort of 3d-ish? Anime-style like hers? or 3-d styled like here? Chibi will be made regardless of the choice...

heise is definately a good artst- deviant art may be a great place to look- i agree...
but maybe heise' submissions are too western influenced for an anime community? that may just be my taste though... I think with MT's age variations, we should have a great detailed for the main mascot, and then for the younger and 'happier' audience, have a chibi version who helps you around mt.

as bel-san mentioned i would recommend vampyre and toujin1.
at the very least i say try to avoid the "kawaii" girl crap- can't stand that
I would prefere an anime styled mascot. I would prefere if you guy sell hats though. I don't really like t-shirts

I like the idea of a chibi style mascot myself because I think it would stick in people's mind more than an anime styled one.
Follow AA-CHAN as he teaches English in South Korea and enjoys his K-Pop music fandoms up close!
I forgot, you don't have to vote for chibi-style, since that style will be drawn eventually as an alternative, you'll just have to choose from heise, or anime style.

my decision is heise and chibi, although that is a personal preference and I do think that majority wise to show the atmosphere of MT it should be more anime-related, since the majority of our submissions are anime-esque
in short: anime and chibi- just make sure the anime gal isn't echii or looks like a character from a series...i'm sure copyright issues are not a pleasant ordeal... >_>

I think heise would be good. I mean, I know this is like...a somewhat Anime community, but I mean, don't we have enough of that O_o Eh, I just want something different. >_< Definitely not chibi. Chibi is like...over done...hahah...

I vote heise. I think the style is very clean and crisp and I think it would make a very good MT frontpage header or T-shirt logo.
