All I ever hear about BoA these days is how her new sexy image sucks, how she looks and acts like Britney Spears, that she should stick with her old cutsey image etc. etc. and I'm getting pretty sick of it now.

I need some reassurance, I can't possibly be the only BoA fan left on the planet, but it's starting to look that way, so does anybody else here like her stuff (including the new stuff)? Or is it really just me?

I remember seeing an old video of hers, I think it was "Don't Stop Now" or something like that....she looked really good.

Can't call myself a fan of her, never was and probably never be but I do like her songs. But I have to admit that she does act... well, not like Britney Spears, she's much better than Spears but she's leaning towards that direction and in my opinion, her songs are becoming more westernised...c It's almost like listening to any other song I hear on the radio rather than actually an Asian singer, something you don't hear on the radio.

I'm a BoA fan myself. Here image is changing into Britney's a little, but I still love her music. Her latetst album My Name is one of my favorites.

See, I agree that she is starting to act a bit more like Britney, but alot of people see it as a really negative thing, but I don't really. Although I'm not a fan of Britney, BoA still has more qualities over Britney (for example, BoA isnt a personality-lacking bimbo, she can actually hit notes, and her Japanese material is nothing like Britney).

Not only that, it's also to be expected. Her first album was released when she was what? 14 year old? Youre going to have a cutsey subdued image at that age, but she's almost 18 now. She's grown up, youre going to gain sex appeal, and as a result a more mature sexier image. What did people expect? She may very well fall back to her older image later on, but at 17/18 lots of girls (and guys) want to experiment with the way they look and present themselves, because youre coming out the other side of puberty, which is a major period of change in your life, and its often difficult to figure out what youve actually changed into without some experimentation...

I completely agree with you, BoneyCork. And answering to the post, I'm a big BoA fan :P She's getting older. Trying out a couple new looks does everyone some good.. if she doesn't like it, she won't do it anymore. I'm sure she has common sense, so let her pick and choose. When she finds the look she likes, I'm sure her true fans will support her in it. Personally, I don't care how she looks. As long as she keeps singing the way she does, and her kind personality stays with her.. I'm alright with whatever she wears. ^^;

....i feel so left out.Who is BoA?I heard that name before somewhere,but from everyone is saying she seems to be a good singer.She probably is better than Brittany Spears since she looks like a slut anyway.

I love BoA! And I agree with what BoneyCork said. She's growing up, so let her experiment with her image. She's no Britney--she's better (watch her video for "My Name" and you'll see).

You can find alot of her stuff by searching bit torrent sites, theyre usually quite slow though unless you get lucky with the seeds.

And I love My Name. Ive got the album the PV for the song, and a peformance of it she did along with Spark for a Musicbank mini-concert on KBS in Korea.

Hey thanks for the info BoneyCork.I do like pop,but most of the artists right now are pressing too hard to be "grown up",and it usually looks worst than wht it's worth.

I like BoA a lot, she has some good music. Perhaps her image is becoming more adult, but... I guess only time will tell.
But yeah, she has some great songs and a great voice.

Im really a big fan of BoA.Yea she have changed her looks recently but i still like her.As long as she dun go too far.lol.But at least you know you are not the only one in the whole planet who likes BoA.= p.
