This is my very first poem that I have ever written. Unless you count the ones I
HAD to write in 6th grade which had no meaning to them what so ever. It's a sad
poem. I want to wirte a poem that would make ever one laugh, but this is not
that kind of poem. Everytime I read it now it makes me sad. Well anyway, please
give me you honest opinion. Oh, and I don't have a title for it. If you have any
suggestions I will be more than happy to hear them. Thanx bunches. ^_^
I was thinking about all the memories we shared
All the times I thought you cared
I remember all the times you made me laugh and you made me cry
Sometimes I wish some of those memories would just die
We should not have to remember the bad
The ones that only make us sad
But sometimes they will only make us stronger
Sometimes they make us wanna fight for this life longer
But not for me, these memories are killing me inside
All I can ever do now is cry
I hate that I feel this way
All I wanted was for us to stay
stay together, like we were forever
At one moment I knew you were lying
But I did not want to think about it because I only would have been crying
There is still truth in what I say
Even to this very day
I know that it has been so long ago
But I just wanted you to know
I still love you and that is the truth
I just wish I had some proof
So all I can do now is pray for that one day
For you to tell me those words that you use to say.
This poem is beautiful. Deep, dramatic, romantic and has lots of feeling in it.
