There isn't going to be a remake of FFVII. The president of Square-Enix denied
that they are making the game. The movie for the PS3 with FFVII footage was just
a tech demo.
They maade a small remake of the first cg sequence in the game where Aerith is
shown for the first time with the flower basket and the loveless poster. It was
just made to show off the power of their new grafix engine. You can find that
trailer on gamepot.com, I think. I guess thats where I saw it. The audeince at
E3 thought that it was a remake but then cursed Sony when they found out that
it was just a short.
There is no remake, its just a rumor thats been spreading eveer since the
release FF7AC.
And besides, to remake FF7 would be a disgrace, the whole point of playing FF7
is that it looks old skool.
And even if they did remake it, i wouldnt buy it, the original is just that
good, and better graphics wont make the game any better.

When i can actually afford the PS3. I will by the remake for sure. I played the
original, and now that i have watched the movie. Im hooked on final fantasy once
again.
Nope. I'd never buy a ffvii remake. I already bought it once; why would I buy
it again? I would rather Square-Enix concentrate their efforts on making a new,
even better game instead of remaking or touching up old ones.

Probably not as I wont be able to afford a PS3 anyway (that's if I decide I even want one)
