1. Grab a calculator. (You won't be able to do this one in your head!)
2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number. (NOT the area code)
3. Multiply by 80.
4. Add 1.
5. Multiply by 250.
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number ( + ####)
7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again. ( + ####)
8. Subtract 250.
9. Divide number by 2.
woot my phone number i did all that in my head XP
- this doesnt work for all numbers though, well my friend did it but he had to
add first 4 digits instead of 3 to make it work
Which is naturally your phone number since its the first three numbers with 0000
behind plus the last four numbers... its just using your phone number to get
your phone number in a very long sequence... its telling people you can multiply
the first 3 numbers of your phone with 10000 and then add the last 4 numbers to
get the number...
And ex-soldier, my guess is your number isn't 7 digits long right? then just
take anything earlier than the last four numbers and you should get it. so for
instance if your number is 1234567890 then just take 123456...
Basically, your number could be represented with
1000000a+100000b+10000c+1000d+100f+10g+f with a,b,c,d,e,f, and g as variables
and can be any number between 0-9.
A math trick for you to try
1. Grab a calculator. (You won't be able to do this one in your head!)
2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number. (NOT the area code)
3. Multiply by 80.
4. Add 1.
5. Multiply by 250.
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number ( + ####)
7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again. ( + ####)
8. Subtract 250.
9. Divide number by 2.
Do you recognize the answer?
Haha I dont =|
Hey, it's my phone number! Whaddya know, spiffy (oh my god I can't believe I just said spiffy jeesh there I go again.....I gotta go)
pretty cool
Cool its my phone number.Your lucky I had my phone its got a calculater.
Does it matter what kind of calculator?
because it
still doesnt work :p
thats funny... Where did you find that?
whoa! my phone number. cool. where did you get this?
yay I did it right got my phone number back ^_^
wow that is neat how did u find that its better than your mom elephant joke
Woahhh!!!
Nice one! ^_^!
Hey !! ! Amazing math trick.
woot my phone number i did all that in my head XP
- this doesnt work for all numbers though, well my friend did it but he had to add first 4 digits instead of 3 to make it work
Interesting...I got my phone number! Cool math trick! Thanks for sharing this with us!
i got a big decimal, i was using the M$ calculator.
Basically... assuming the first 3 numbers on your phone is "x" and the last four numbers is "y" (taking that your phone number has 7 numbers.)
What we did here in a very long sequence is
1. 80x
2. 80x+1
3. 250(80x+1)=20000x+250
4. 20000x+250+y
5. 20000x+250+2y
6. 20000x+2y
7. 10000x+y
Which is naturally your phone number since its the first three numbers with 0000 behind plus the last four numbers... its just using your phone number to get your phone number in a very long sequence... its telling people you can multiply the first 3 numbers of your phone with 10000 and then add the last 4 numbers to get the number...
And ex-soldier, my guess is your number isn't 7 digits long right? then just take anything earlier than the last four numbers and you should get it. so for instance if your number is 1234567890 then just take 123456...
I got your trick.
Basically, your number could be represented with 1000000a+100000b+10000c+1000d+100f+10g+f with a,b,c,d,e,f, and g as variables and can be any number between 0-9.
= {[(100a+10b+c)*80+1]*250+2000d+200e+20f+2g-250}/2
= [(100A+10B+C)*80+1]*125+1000D+100E+10F+G-125
So after this step, you got the last 4 digits already
= [(100)(80)(125)a+(10)(80)(125)b+(80)(125)c+125-125+1000d+100e+10f+g
= 1000000A+100000B+10000C+1000D+100E+10F+G
So it's your number again.
gah!! It's my phone number!
*pokes calculator* Out, accursed demon!
But really, that's a cool trick. I'm impressed by the fact somebody sat down and figured out this thing.
awesome trick dude,
that was cool! I didn't think it would work, since the last 4 digits of my phone # start with 0, but it did.
still
sooooooo
KunFusEd
O.o
haha.. that was fun. hehe
a mathematical numerical serie, it sounds logical
maybe hes tricking us and is going to steal our phone numbers
haha
