wondering if any one here finds it easier to watch anime with subtitles or
english dubbed?
me personally i like hearing it in english but i prefer it with subtitles just
wanted to hear you guys opinion on that
Subjectively I would say that people getting into anime would prefer to watch
dubbed version rather than subbed. After all, it is easier to listen straight
English rather than try to read the subtitled text.
Myself I would prefer sub only because I like to hear the original Japanese
voice actors rather than dubbed English.

I prefer to watch the anime in Japanese and read english subtitles. I have
watched some anime with has been dubed and is just sounds wrong. I can't say
why but it does.
It's better 2 watch the original dubbed version bcoz the dubbers are in full
act..
english dubbers are sometimes boring and no emotion at all AND THUS ruining a

Most of the time, I'll try to have it English dubbed and subtitled at the same
time. I like to hear the choices of English voice acting they did as well as see
how they translated it. So, both is fine with me, but I think I would probably
prefer English dubbed more.
I'd say its easier if the anime is subed. I read fast, and my ears arent
devastated due to the horrible eng dub so i can enjoy the anime^^. The only
anime that had decent dubs was Cowboy Bebop, and the Cowboy Bebop movie. Other
than that, i cant think of one.
I have no problem reading the subs and i like to watch anime in Japanese. BUT! I
like even more when i DONT have to read so that i can concentrate on the anime
itself . Conclusion: I like dubbed better. note: I would never watch Bleach
dubbed! Thank you.
I don't think that it's this much of a problem to read subtitles....
So I definitely prefer subs over dubs.. because I want to hear the original
voices.. noone but the japanese have such a voice variety... at least that's
what it seems to me..
I find the english dub of Naruto just terrible to listen to...the actor's voices
are crap (just my opinion), but for love hina I liked the english version. It
really depends.
Other than the english audio, dubs is the easier of the two for me to handle. (
I can't handle cheesy eng dubs) With dubs I wouldn't miss alot little details
since I wouldn't have to glance down to read the subtitles. Though the dub is
easier, I watch 95% of my anime subtitled. It doesn't take much effort for me
read the subs while at the same time watching the scenes.
well, i think that somtimes the dubbed ones don't catch the real japanese
meaning, while the subbed ones catch the meaning better. but i always prefer
dubbed better cause for some reason, its like you get the emotion straight to
you, not like subbed, you havce to read and then the feeling just kinda fades.

the original seiyus are soo much better ! i prefer subs, its a bit harder to
watch , but not that hard o.o

I think it is easier to have it dubbed since you can multitask if it's dubbed.

it really depends on ur ability. If your blind go for dubbed. If you're deaf go subbed.

it's better if it is subtitled and English language in Japanese animation sounds pretty wrong.
im used to both, so it doesnt matter if it is subbed or dubbed, watched enough subbed stuff to get used to it, plus it helps beeing a fast reader
