Computers play a vital role in one's life and in many situations as well when
it's contacting a friend or family member, searching for information you can't
find anywhere else or...ahem other purposes <.< >.> anyways when did
ya'll first get your computers and when ya got them, were ya hooked?
As for me, I first got mine back in the year of early '99. At first I wasn't too
interested cause I pretty much was 13 and the time and interested in video games
and sports in a strict basis lol. My friends at the time however were constantly
talking about how cool their computers were and such, it kinda aggravated me a
bit, but I decided to check it out for myself when I tested mine out, which had
also had access to AOL. I didn't enjoy it, maybe cause I didn't feel like it at
the time until 2 people out of nowhere IMed me asking if I liked anime, of
course I did pretty much and I made 2 new friends on that day. After that day I
started to like going on my computer and have been on it mostly ever since,
while trying to balance out my schedule in real life and here I am today.
So yea, when did you first get your computer and how long did it take for ya to
get hooked into it?
(btw: I did do a search on this and couldn't find anything relating to the

i had my first computer during the 5th grade it has been with me for year but i
had to get rid of it due to the fact it was out of date we had some good time
though
my first personal computer was this year febuary. but ive alwys loved computers
and been a counterstrike/Unreal tournement whore and i admit im kinda of a
online pirate for anime. And i Love Online Comics . anyway my computer is custom

Sheesh...I had my fist comp. when I was at least seven... I miss it
though...best darm one I've ever had....... I was on it at least...*thinks* six

I've never really had my own pc, but the first time I ever used one I as like in
3rd grade. I didn;'t get one of my own until I was like 14, but this jerkhole
friend of my mom's was suppose to be fixing it and messed up the memoy, and we
didn't even have it a full year yet.
My first computer was Atari 800. It only had 5 1/4" floppy drive which was
an extra option, no hard drive (was not invented yet), hooked on regular color
TV and I had to save money to buy it from part time job I had at the time.
Internet was connect via 300 baud phone copler.
My second computer was Apple Mc Intosh Classic and that came with 80MB hard
drive which I thought at the time was, "Wow, so much spaces. How am I
going to fill that up?" Yeah, right.
I got my computer in 1998 I think. I wasn't hooked on it till I got the net.
Which wasn't till 2003. I
used that computer till like last year when I got a laptop. Now I'm using that
and I'm hooked on the net.
Ok, now I feel old.
I got my first computer (A Comodore 128) when I was 6... which was... 1985.
since then I've had a lot... it was what started me into this though, and as
such, I wish I still had it... oh well.

My first computer was a Commodore 64!! I loved it! ..and of course I continue
playing it, in my house in the countryside, since there is not so much to do
there!..
..My second computer was an Commodore Amiga 500, but is dead:-P
Then my first pc was an 8088, and my favourite game was Castles and QBert!
..from then till now lot of other PCs, but those tree computers, I'll never
forget them:-)

Hm... my first ones I think was waay back, a Commodore 64 and this monochrome
monitor PC (don't remember the name). We gave away the computers and threw out
the disks, though. Wished I still have them ><;
At my college they got us Mac laptops when second semester started. We needed
them for making advertising ads n' stuff. So I've only had my computer since the
first month of the year.
I'm diggin' though, I'm a member of MT after all.

first got a computer when i was 8 which was 92 ^^
just played games mainly on it hehe
when i was 13, before that i didnt have anything, tv stereo etc. my mum hated them
