I recently got my hands on a 15 pin game contoller to usb adaptor (just some
wire with a female gameport thing at one end and a usb male at the other) and I
am having difficulties getting my Propad 6 to work. I have tried installing a
game port device (add hardware in control panel) and it obviously didn't work. I
am using a laptop, btw, so there is no gameport (like what the old soundcards
used to have). Is there a solution around this, besides buying a new gamepad?
i had the same problem... except i think mine was a propad 8... never found a
solution to make it work, though, and i never returned it because i was too
lazy... so i got stuck with a controller that doesnt work on my comp... the best
thing i would recommend you do is return it and go buy something better. 6
buttons doesnt give you that much customizability anyways.
Yeah, methinks there is no solution to this either. I googled this thing to
death. Thing is, I like this gamepad, and I don't think buying a new one would
be a good idea for me right now. Unless someone else out there has something to
say....
