Ever wondered to hold Minitokyo Anime conference like E3 gaming? I think this
will help making MT a better place if we could held something like this. What I
suggest: There should be a big LAN of people. (Mostly Designers) hooked on the
Internet as well. You should obviously pay a fee to enter.
This should then be held in a different country each year. There should be
prizes up for grabs, Anime to buy etc. I know this is going to take allot of
planning.

I took some more thought on this topic. Its possible. Here in South Africa we
have a huge dome called Arena 77. Good enought to held a convention. On the
other hand we are already heaving a convention by means of communication with
each other on Minitokyo.
If anyone suggest something to it I will update this threat more.

Hmmm, sounds like it could be fun, kinda like deviantART Summit, but there are
alot of problems that will prevent such an event happening for now. Eg,
* The majority of MT's members are the the 12-18 age range (aka teenager's).
Most of these kinda people dont have jobs and cant pay for travel (and perhaps
accomidation) expenses. Most of these people also can not legally to go a
conference without their parent(s)/guardian(s), which can also become a
problem.
* There may not be enough members (and other people) interested to travel to and
go to these conferences.
* To hold such an event would cost alot of money, and it isn't like Sheqel
doesnt ask for donations to help keep MT alive as it is. Combined with the last
point, chances are that this conference could even lose money, rather than make
a profit.
* I dont know if it's just me, but it doesnt seem like there are that many
things to do at an MT conf. I could be wrong though, (someone please prove me
wrong!)
* A VPN for those who are not attending who require an interenet connection with
a very good up/download speed, which wont exactly be an easy thing to
organise.
Not that we shouldn't continue to discuss this, I just wanted to point out some
problems before anyone got too excited.

We lot have other stuff to attend to. I doubt that this kinda thing will happen.
