i don't like the fact that u guys here operating MT is narrowing down acceptance
of artwork here in the site....isn't that a little too restrictive,?
i mean these people u have mentioned are fine western comic artist, i don't
think it matters that much in opinion as not to include them in the anime ring,
but simply deleting their categories means that MT does not want anymore western
art???
oh well, so far i already collected most of IMAGE's works, so sad....

Exactly. Minitokyo is a Japanese culture-oriented
community, and that means that the type of art that should be submitted should
be Japanese animation, manga, or game-related. If you would like other kinds of
art, there are plenty of other communities to go to in order to satisfy your
appetite.

Well yeah that does make since but I dont like the fact that you can't submit
any music artist anymore unless it's J-pop or J-rock. It doesn't have to deal
with anime so might as well get rid of that catagory as well. Unless you want to
keep it for your own wantings it just doesn't seem fair.

MT is about anime, not about occidental animation...and since MT needs more
space for more anime scans....I think it's fair
Well, I actually agree with all the deletion, MT is an anime community after
all
Just as shinsengumi has stated, you could always go to other communities to go
and look for those artworks

Some of us have our own issues about the j-pop
gallery anyway.
Still, the Music Artists section is a waste bin. Apart from the fact that it
has very few decent scans, I don't come to an anime/manga/game based site to see
walls of Hilary Duff or Linkin Park. If you want those then go to music based
communities. Most Western bands have their own sites & BBSes these
days.
Besides, you don't hear me griping about losing all the comic covers I've spent
hours scanning in. There's worse things in life than losing a few needless
galleries.

be justified by the fact that the opening and ending themes for anime are often
done by various and sundry J-Pop/J-Rock groups.
As for myself, I've actually never ventured into the J-Pop gallery.
