I know there a lot of Katamari fans out there and I was wondering what really
attracts people to such a simplistic game?
I'm not saying that is bad or anything, its interesting I must say, but there
are some people who are REALLY into it. Is rolling things into a huge ball
really that fun? o.O
I played it once, and it was okay- I didn't sense any "magic" in it or
anything. I don't understand how people can like it so much- but I'm open minded
and can accept that it's a good game that deserves fans.
I think it's because it's something different from everything else out there.
Sometimes it's funny, and sometimes you just end up getting addicted to having
to find all the objects.
My husband likes when you get bigger than all the things that kick you around
and then you can roll them all up and get your revenge.

Because it's a game with no strings attached, no super plot, and isn't anything
more than what everyone says it is. It's a classic fun game. Sometimes the
gaming community gets so into playing interactive movies that they forget what
makes video games fun. I think Katamari helped people realize why they liked
games to begin with.
It's so simple that you can just jump right in and start rolling stuff up, and
the bizarre nature of it keeps you addicted ( just like crack) You just have to
have the right kind of imagination and interest in strange things to truly
understand how surreal and fun Katamari Damacy is. it also shows off the power
of the Japanese mind to creat something really weird and cool.

Yeah I think your right. One of them no brainer games that is interesting and
keeps you hooked. Just like Mario back in the Nintendo days

This game looks so lame! Although I've never played it but just the look of the game turns me off..

Because you can roll people, buildings and the God of Thunder into a ball!!!
But seriously, its so simple but very very enjoyable.
