Doom three is finally out after a long and grueling 7 years of development. I
recenently got it two days ago and it is majorly awesome, if you have it or have
anything to say about it, maybe a question just ask here.
Doom had the best lighting effect ever, lately i have been holding every other
games graphics to doom becuase they are that good. The game took me about 14
hours to beat, and that is pretty long for an FPS (first person shooter). The
only thing that is slightly off, which doesnt count against the game , it the
story line, where the game has sufficient story to make it good, it lacks
substance to keep the story fully interesting, at times i was at places, not
knowing what was going on. Over all i give the game a 9.7/10
I have tried it - and it's worse than I hoped for. They must have put much
effort in it, but it's just an overly cliche 3D game. No revolution. FarCry was
a bigger jump foreward.
I give it 8/10, because ID had the abilities to make it better.
i think i can only run the game on medium, once i put the setting to high, it
starts to get really choppy. but it runs so smooth. I got a new graphics card
just for it.... lol.

My comp sucks!
I have the same problem, and that one isn't for the card, is for the
microprocessor, to play it you need one with 384 MB RAM; the graphics card is
just only for the best resolution of the game.
Hope we can be friends and give some tips of this game, so... that's all for

it owns so much. i cannot wait till GtkR supports D3 >=D

Looks realllllly cool and is quite fun for a while
One thing I'm looking forward to though is Return to Castle Wolfenstein 2 on the Doom3 engine
I just got it, havent played i yet, but i'm hoping it'll be at least decent. I'm still waiting for HL2 and CS: S the most, grrrrrrrrrr
