first time i saw boogiepop phantom i thought it was kind of scary. second time,
not so much. i do however really enjoy the mood and the sickness of the anime,
and it's still a little scary. plus it really is a great anime.
are there any more good animes like boogiepop, and what i really want to know,
are there any really scary animes? the japanese has made some good horror
movies, but are there any good horror animes? not thriller or splatter, but
horror, that sincerely is (or tries to be) scary?
I'd suggest the original Vampire Princess Miyu OVA series. The horror is mostly
in the atmosphere though, so don't expect it to make you jump or anything.
