i like this age ôcause is full of technology but i would
like have been born in europe at the renaissance age.
Yeah maybe in the renaissance period. Whats so cool about it?? Its not
necessarily cool but its different. In that time there were like nobility and
social classes. I just think it would be interesting if you experienced that
kind of life, unlike today there aren't any such classes which people really
care about.
I say it again: Would you care to *explain*? It was a filthy age with crappy
fashion and chances were you'd die early after living a life of toil, joyless
except for the 2 out of 15 children of yours who survived.
This age is fine, but if I had to chose another one it would be propably
somewhere in the future. I wonder what people will achieve or what kind of
catastrophy will they cause by their stupidy. Unfortunetly I won't exist then to
witness it. But who knows how will the planet look like till 2060... And there's
a possibility I'll be still around. That's why this age is a interesting one,
the technologic boom and Earths changes makes it rather unpredictable.
Sure, it would be cool to go back for a minute to the ancient Egypt or the dark
ages, maybe even the reneissance. But to live in those times? Nah :p
my problems is i have so many ;O i want to live in:
1. Japan during the meji era as a samurai ;D (like Kenshin ^^)
2. Whatever time the pirates were around and of course i would be a succesful
pirate ;d
3. Sweden during the viking age (im swedish so rthat would be really cool...)
4. South America during the Aztecs and Inca
5. and of course the future like in year 3000 just to see what the world will be
like then... if it even exists :|
all of these would be cool if i could choose what kind of person i would be
like too... hehe ^^
ancient egipt..I like that era...or also rome while the gladiators rule yeah!
that would be great..and Salemm when all the stuff of witches...or medivial
times, with knights, wizards, king Arturo, the round table haha...
reneissance..or ancient greece. I particulary like thoese eras not others. ^^!

Classical history fascinates me, Greek, Roman, Far East, the eras are quite
interesting. Same with the Renaissance period, so much art and new discoveries.
Medieval Europe usually has a romantic feel to it (probably because I read too
many fairytales ).
But in reality, I think I'd stick with the current age, because I cannot live without the modern commodities.
And I'm not just talking about our technology (although I'd be very sad without
computers or Internet), but also everyday commodities like flushible toilets
(and toilet paper), soap, modern medicine, cars, microwave (one of the most
wonderful inventions for the student who can't cook! ),
mattresses, electricity etc. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the modern luxuries
and no, I don't think I'd want to live in far future either, because of all
those crazy sci-fi stuff, a future society kinda scares me , although I admit it would be cool to space-travel (at an affordable prices
)
and be able to experience zero-gravity! But it kinda worries me that we're
already so dependant on technology these days, and people are getting lazier and
lazier... maybe instead of being more efficient in the future, we'd be less
efficient. And with human greed and curiousity, if we do discover a new
frontier, there's always gonna be somebody to exploit it, and that doesn't sound
too safe to me...

Well, this century is enough for me. I don't think I can last for a day in the Medieval times, Renaissance etc. I'll die of boredom.

Im only 12 but I act more like a 15-16 year old.
This age .. I love it. Its the best . all the good anime shows are on now
