Scientists are researching the DNA and one of the things they want to do is stop
the genes responsible for humans getting old. Who knows, it may even happen in
this generations lifetime. I'm curious what do you think about that? Do you
think about death as a normal biological thing when life just stops and you
agree with the scientists that it should be slowed down/eliminated by mendling
with genes or maybe you think of death as a beginning of another life and humans
shouldn't mess with the biological clock? Or do you have another point of view?
It's not a thread about being afraid of death, because such one exists allready.
It's just a topic about one of the things people want to achieve in this time of
the technological boom - beating their own mortality. Right or wrong?
Well iam not sure i really could look both ways on this but if i had to pick i
would say that they should not do it when your time comes it comes leave it at
that. See Ya Later
Im all for living forever. Hook me up. But the question was-is it wrong to
mess with the natural order of things. Its already been done with cloning, and
all sorts of medicines.
At this young age, I look at all the years ahead of me and think, "augh,
isn't it already too long?" I really hope there isn't a heaven, because the
thought of eternity scares the heck out of me. I just want to die and have that
be it.
So right now I'll say, It may be good for some people, but I don't want it for
me.
