I have used PS before, infact I'm saving up for a pen tablet to help in my
endevors. But I still feel like such a noob I've tried reading books on PS (
Photoshop Classroom in a Book is an AWESOME resource )
So basically I would like to hear about any advice, tips and tricks you'd like
to offer.
Or just general PS experiences and/or thoughts
Why don't you try actually looking around the forum for tips and tricks instead
of waiting for us to bring them to you on a silver platter, jackass? The members
are not here simply to serve your whims.

When it becomes crap, I'll cut the elitism out. Until then, I'll be as elitist
as I damned well please.
Besides, I gave him far better resources than you did. The ones already listed
in this forum. This thread actually needs to be reported, because it's asking
for tutorials... when there's a stickied tutorial thread immediately above
it.
So I'll be doing that, actually. Thanks for drawing my attention to it.
You might want to go buy a few books on using
Photoshop and all its tools and effects. I find the books can actually provide
more help than many of the tut I've seen.

Endorsements are entirely different from condonements, my friend. If you have a
problem with the fact that I'm honest, I'd say that makes you the more American
of the two of us. Which would make sense since I'm not actually
American...
Kid, if tutorials and simple observation aren't good enough for you, hit the
library. That's it. Case closed, unless you have a specific request. Stop
wasting everybody's time.

Lets de-americanize/ de-hormonallize the above. Translation:
Hello Draconic112 we all start as noob basicly use google and search for a few
fx tutorials. http://www.imanimetions.net/main.php?nav=tutorial http://ningen.nattoli.net/tutorial.html
the above two would be a nice place to start.
Just tryout and goof around in photoshop it's the best way to learn.
@omni .. cut that elitist crap..
Thanks for the info. It was not my intention to offend/upset anyone let alone
start an argument. My apologies.

That wasn't very nice. You didn't have to call him that.

Don't discriminate Americans. Even though I am not american, they are people
just like you and me.

He's wasting nobody's time. Anyone posting in this thread is posting voluntarily including you.
Anyways, I believe that experience is they key to not a 'noob' at PS. I'm a noob
myself but I think I am progressing steadily. I got myself familiar with most of
PS's abilities and unctions by doing a bunch of tutorials. Most of them were
found at www.good-tutorials.com .
Find out what you would like to make in PS and look for a tutorial on it. Better
yet, try to create the effect on your own. But tutorials can sometimes teach you
thingks that you didn't know could be done. I haven't read any PS books myself
tough so I can't tell you if they are good or not.

Maybe, but the tutorials are free.
