what its being banned there. thats not good. i see no reson why. have they

comics. i suck a spelling and reading. and anime helped me do reach a 11th grade

on TV? Also there are age limits to animes ! I think anime is very important and

Anime is neither a genre, nor a specific style, it's just a word used for
Japanese animation, that's all there is to it. It's sad that those idiots who
have the power to make the laws and stuff know nothing of these things, they
base their opinions on stuff they've seen and are so close minded that they
aren't willing to learn more about the subject.
This sorta reminds me of the time when in Greece they made video games illegal
and you could go to prison for playing a handheld in public places, I remember
reading about that on GameSpot.
If they want to ban it because it is "pornography", why don't they ban
normal porn aswell. I've read an article simular to that one about 5 months ago.
I think it is stupid to do so. Come on, they can't be serious. Who gave them the
right to take away our privalages and rights? That friggin sucks. Those asses
should worry about other stuff, for example drugs and crime, but it just doesn't
make any sense to ban anime just for that reason. And besides, If they think
that anime is only pornographic, they should consider to clean up their own
lives aswell, because they propably only bought/downloaded hentai series

things, people yell out the first thing they think when faced with something
new. For a lot of people, their first encounter with anime may be hentai which
turns them off completely. That's just how our monkey brains work. I can
understand that. But to those who take everything at face value and don't bother
to look deeper into things, well, it make you uninformed and
"shallow". I'm glad they haven't been successful in banning anime
because, frankly, there are much worse things in our local video shops and
convenience stores.
