What's something they said to you while you were watching a particular show?

ANYTHING related with what parents, or other grown-up family members have said about anime that you found strange, wacky, funny, bleh!

This happened to me while I was watching the first episode of Inuyasha (I had come across a site about it a few days before, so I knew the story beforehand

Me: *Watching Inuyasha*
Dad: *Walks into the room* Heeeyy! Isn't this that thing?
Me: Huh? What thing?
Dad: You know, the thing with that dog or something
Me: Uh....
Dad: And the jewel!
Me: O 0o How'd you know?!
Dad: You watched this before! A few years ago!
Me: .......omg

oh my god oov~~
it's weird =P

me: ~watching bleach...~
mom: what is that?
me: movie, mom. Anime...... Cartoon movie....
mom: Cartoon? You're so childish...! =P
me: who cares.... I love to watch this! ^^

For me it's the contrary. I prefer my parents are out of this so that they can make me go back on earth when I'm out of this world for too long

My mom was genuinely confused about the changing hair colour in Agent Aika. She was okay with the panty-shots, sexual deviance, and fan service, but couldn't fathom the hair colour change. I had to explain to her like three times that Aika's hair changes when she becomes the Bronze Goddess.

My friend's dad is a doctor and a biker. When Guld's eye explodes in the last battle in Macross Plus, he just went.. "whoa... awesome!", and likes to watch anime ever since.

Dad complains how I spend my money and time on anime and manga...
- Ku, you should grow up. You are ***-years old! Boys of your age do not play games and read comics and watch cartoon.
- So, these books have a better plot than most books you have. And their artwork is superb than your's -59 Superman comics. Also, does "cartoons" have this kind of plot? (show the last ep. of Kimonozo.)
