lol Now ^ is just ridiculous! Sony WEGAs have been out for quite some time and
are actually fairly old. Most Sony WEGAs that show the WEGA sign on it are in
the 20"-35" range. I myself have a Sony kv-40xbr700, which is the
40" 1080i compatible tv. After playing PS2 games in component high-def, I
just can't go back to playing em on normal yellow/white/red plugs!
EDIT: Oh, and it's a WEGA as well, but it doesn't actually say it on the TV
itself.
well the one i got the price went down, i haft to say its hard to go down back
to normal tv's and monitors now , i know that there not that rare but around my
area none of the stores held any sony products so i had to order it. so some of
you might be in a big city >P but anyway yah they are sweet .

been out for a few years already.
If you want rare it's the Sony GxLSee how big it is?
Not a big fan of LCD sets in general, and the Sony WEGAs are no exception. DLP,
for my eyes, has better PQ, especially in the blacks. And if you've got
$3000-4000 to spend on a higher end WEGA set, might as well go for a Panasonic
50'' plasma. Best PQ IMO for that particular price range.

When I bought my TV, we were originally going to buy a flat screen plasma, but
the guy actually told us that plasmas aren't the way to go since the technology
is still pretty fresh; the lifespan of a plasma doesn't go beyond 3-8 years
until a major problem occurs. And the 40" Sony was $2400, not $3000-4000.
Also, there aren't many plasma with tons of inputs, which is always a good
thing. I have 3 hi-def inputs(out of 7 types of inputs available, including
s-video).
I am a Sony fanboy, ever since I had a Sony TV last more than 15 years with no
problems, I was sold. For picture quality I have heard that good quality CRT's
still are the best, is this true?
