i cant find anything on quarantaine in the forum.
am i the only one who got this?
'Kasumi' by rsocg has been placed in quarantaine and cannot be viewed nor downloaded.
Only the owner of the gallery item can instantiate a request to return it to the gallery.
It will be permanently purged on or short after December 09.

Quarantine in real life means to isolate.
This is typicall due to virus that might spread harm to others.
Similar to a virus in your PC, if you quarantine that infected file, that infected file is lock in a special folder, your antivirus program manages.
As for a wallpaper, maybe there is a restriction.
but its only a scan, n i dont think i broke any rules. is there anyway of fixing this?
or do i just have to upload again?

No do not upload again. Quarantine is simply a new feature we have to allow the moderators to take a bit more time to decide whether to delete a submission rather than deleting outright. It lessens the chance for a mistake.
Your scan was placed in quarantine for the same reasons it would have been deleted in the old MT. It either was a duplicate of a current one, or was not of enough quality. thus please do not upload it again.

iono...i played the .hack series game...the last one quarintine
in that game...you the character try to wipe out the virus out of the game system...to do so you hav to isolate a virus

To clarify. Quarantined items are deleted items. This is a precaution in case something was deleted by mistake. That way, if a mistake is discovered, the item will be restored. Just suppose that 99.9% of the time quarantined items will be deleted..
