haha! nice concept!
dunno if it's done on purpose or not though but the background looks kind of
2D... and the trees in the back look kind of "eaten" by the clouds...
O.O what a weird wallpaper. A somewhat cute, super-deformed style. But it's not
bad. Still need some imprevement though I think. Here are my suggestions:
- Improve a little the scan quality, or at least try to. Sakura in particular is
a little pixelated
- Even though the wallpaper is supposed to have a simple look, you could try
movimenting the sky, the wall and the ground a little. Either addd some elements
(gradients, some pebbles) or some fine textures
- Uhm those tree are a little weird and they look somewhat out of place. They
se, a little blurry, while the wallpaper is really crisp. You may want to try to
fix them, or redraw them.
I also think the trees being with the clouds look kind of strange.
The image looks pretty flat, and only the colors make it stand out.
It's pretty cute though!
Now. About the arrows and crosses. Did you stroke them? It was a bad idea since
now the objects look... uh, like objects with grainy edges I guess. =D Besides,
you add blurry shadows under the charas, but everything else looks king of 2D
and plain... I mean, you had to decide whether you're drawing a 2D or a 3D wall.
Because blurry shadows and , uh, shadowless walls just don't fit.
Otherwise - nice job, the concept is nice and the whole wall is, um, just cute.
^^ Though, the charas look grainy... how did you resize them? 0__o
Yellow?! YOUCH! It's a bit too bright. That's around the word
"Naruto"- it makes it stand out too much and it attracts all my
attention to the top rather than to anywhere else. To me the trees are a little
too realistic for this cutesy set up.
If you know the pentool you can simply outline that tree with a 3-4 pixel
stroking brush and you can delete that brush tree layer. Doesn't fit
in.
Tip: Hint of advice when you outline something
keep it consistent.
I see white lines and black lines... I see thick lines and I see thick lines.
Keep it to one colour, one thickness. I know you wanted to do the lighting, but
it's just a bit strange. Esp on the grave... you should get another layer on top
to get rid of the lines at the bottom.
And yes, I know you used Blending modes>> outline or outer stroke >>
X number of pixels and a colour.
You might want to rotate those graves as well and have it like at different
angles. Too uniform at the moment.
The ghost on the right is blurry and has no outline- I think you will know how
to fix that- give it an outline and improve the colour quality by going over it
again in white. My apologies, all the ghosts need that... I kinda only realised
you had more than one XP
The pathway stones look like they're floating at the moment... not sure how you
could fix that- perhaps the outline will help
Overall this is a cute wall It's
quite creative :P
To solve any compaints about the emptiness of the sky I suggest you move the
characters up a bit and the text down. That way you have a focal point ^_^
All i can say is ...your wallpaper is really cute
And hmm.. the background has some.. lack of some dark things, shadings and
effects (?)
But, anyway, it's nice, like it
i've been recieving comments about the fogs, which one is better, because some
says the fog looks creepy and losing the cuteness of the wallpaper and some says
the fog makes it more halloween looks
Good good, you took out the trees. ^_^ I think it looks better with the fog. Its
adds a little bit of depth and that way everything is not so sharp as well.
a naruto wallpaper, i want your comment and suggestion about my new wallpaper before i submit it.

The trees look funny against the clouds but other than that its really cute!

Really cute scan, but Sasuke looks kinda wierd somehow.
The trees are a bit wierd also, but everything else is cute =)

Okay I'll get right into it:
