its benefits. I still strongly beleive that MT needs some sort of post ranking
system. If not, how can we determine the noobs from the non noobs, lol. I kno
that alot of people dont like the credit system, but its for the best. Its makes
the quality of work submitted a whole lot beter.

In a community like this - who is a noob or not - should not matter. Only the

I remembered when I first became a member of MT, I was so into it because of its
level system... I mean which websites allows it members to level up as if we're
playing an RPG game (ok ok, I'm an RPG fan)... XP
And ya, I can also differentiate the noob from the pro... Cause I believe they
became pro for a reason... and I wanna see how far I can go...
well, i'm not a leecher but yes an uploader. I also don't want leechers but you
and your comrades should understand that this system is not so good as all of

Old members or permanent users like me have given too many arguments that makes
this credit system unfair.
I have noticed that the cost per image download depends of the image size in kb,
and the upload too but less. I think this system is due to the bandwidth
problem, i'm sure they don't looked at http://www.aruba.it.
The amount of scans subbmited per day have down, i'm still watching the same
scans from yesterday, except 3 or less new scans. Something is going bad and a
lot of us have told that this system is the worse thing for a community and
nothing. And i don't talk about leecher users..
I will not say anymore about this question, i'm thinking in possible solutions
and suggestions.

having both would just be a waste of space.
Credits are good enough, and a lot more efficent for MiniTokyo. We needn't have
both in this community.
Credits are great, I love, some MT members love it and most improtantly MT
admins love it...so it will probably stay.
I liked the level system. It was kinda cool watching those 100+ level people,
and respect them for being a huge part of this community, or seeing a friend
grow well over 50 levels. It was also nice to have a marker or sign telling you
how much you are participating/participated in the MT community.
There was no harm in the level system, so I think it would be great if could be
implemented.

('cause I think that even if you want a really equality between all users you
won't count the submissions of some users ? like noctum or others that give much
much of their time to MT -I think-) but I don't think it'll change something to
have level + credits.
But at least I think you can do like AP no ? Wallpapers don't cost credits.
Why ? Because as it said in the support part, wallpaper are "our"
creation no ? And it's unfair to make it cost credits (if we don't want ? lol)
i don't know if this is already said but why not try combine the level and
credit system. you know make something like if reaching a certain level you get
to use the credits to buy a unimited weekly credit limit. etc etc. those types i
don't quite have a lot of ideas but i think it may also help since there are
those that are just really interested in the levelup of their avatars
not so sure but i find it that it would be better since highlevel ones are
already the ones that have contributed a lot to minitokyo so wouldn't hurt if
they do get something back

The level system is dead the mods have given it the axe. They no longer deem it
needed. It caused to much division between older and newer members. As such with
the credit system we are all considered equal. The only way to tell if a person
is a new member is by going to their userpage and why would you want to. So in
short the level system is gone and will never return as stated by the mods and
even Sheqel himself

user has contributed a lot to a site (probably more by submitting scans or wall
since I think that after level 20, it was hard to level up just by
posts/comments) or is quite new. Nothing discriminating.
There are other forums with level system, if you like level up, you can join
them. But I don't think that's what defines a forum.
