We all heard the saying " Try and try until you succeed". Well, I
tried it in different ways, then I tried some more. And its really frustratin
when you don't know if your perseverance will bear fruit.
So, my question is this, When do you think you should give up? Should you
continue until you're there or until you've depleted all your resources? Do you
think it was worth it?
I try to never give up easily, but when I run out of possibilites to answer a
problem or handle with something, then I do. But that depends on how important
the matter is, on some things I won't give up no matter what.

Just give up dude if he/she doesnt like you thats it!
scenario: objective = get to the moon; you are a rocket scientist...
now you may have all the tools ~ brains ~ etc..
however, you may not have all the resources ~ components to make a
rocket...
even if you somehow make one work ~ there can be any multitude of problems ~
space debris might damage your ship ~ rockets have lots of systems so one might
break down and you fly into the sun...
I usually get into orbit and lost my navigational system ~ lost in
space...
It depends...
Somethings are worth the effort... while some other times it's ok to let it go
and find something else to do, and it doens't mean that you are a looser...
A lot of times you think you falied, but the truth is that you didn't. Not
matter the result you will always learn something in the precess, even if you
can no see it in that moment.
It requires a lot of "courage" to "fight" for something, but
sometimes it requires even more courage to let go, and accept that there might
be a reason for why you couldn't reach your objective/aim or whatever it was you
were trying to get.
If I do something and it ends up failing, I try to do it again with other system
or other method.
But you have to know what you can, or can't do. To keep trying too much can lead
to frustration, as cifiryn says, it's good to know when to give up too.
keep trying is useless if you've tried millions of times already. its just not
worit. if you've known how to try, then i think your next lesson is to learn how
to give up.

You should give up when you realise you've got better things to do.
There's this kid who's in the boys' school. I'm going into Uni next year. I'm now 17 and the others in my grade are 17 or 18.
That kid repeated THREE Times and he's 20. He got 50% last year...
Why waste your life away in a school? He can get a job, go to a smaller school instead of a uni and perhaps go into an apprenticeship and be useful...
but then again, if it's your passion, that's your choice
