Well, I don't think that friend will show up in your userlookup unless they add
you also.....
You are going into their userpage and then clicking on "Add to
Friendslist," which is right under their name. The page should then refresh
and at the very top say "soandso has been added to your Friendslist."
If your doing all that, its working.
This seems to be a quirk of the way the site is constructed... And this doesn't
seem to be isolated to just friends list's adds. It also happens with adding an
image to your favorites.
Remember, this is a web page. When you add a friend or favorite, you have given
the page you're currently on post-back information. If after you've done your
add, you click back on your browser, the page you are currently on never gets a
chance to touch the server to post the information it is carrying. Its as if you
never made the add...
The easiest way to overcome this is to navigate using a link on the page you are
on, after you have done the add.
I had a problem like this a while back. It would allow me to add some people,
but not others. Does the person's name have an underscore. If so, I think they
were saying when that is entered, it automatically logs you out. So it's like an
infinite loop that wont allow you to add that person.
I can't see my friends list, but I have friended someone who friended me , and
made sure my userpage refreshed properly. If I go to their userpage I am in
their friends list and I have a "remove from friendlist" link under
their name.
I've tried logging out and then looking, and I've tried a different computer but
still no friends list on my page though I can see it on others.
It would make it rather hard to remember who you have friended if you can't see
the list unless they have friended you as well

It should be on the side of your members page.(Unless it was moved) If no one's added you,I don't think it exsists..^_^;;
